Happy Sunday Selfie Hop Day!

Sunday is the day we all share photos of ourselves – sometimes REAL selfies that we have taken ourselves and sometimes photos of us that we’ve had a bit of HELP taking………….and today my selfie will be one of those – taken by another!     If you want to play along and share your photo with all the rest of us selfie hoppers, just click the badge above and go to our host – The Cat On My Head – and fill out the LINKY form and you’re in!

There’s a story behind my selfie today………………….last Thursday my Mom and Dad had a visit from two super good friends of theirs from southern Virginia.   Miss Dianna has a blog called These Days of Mine and also has two kitties – one named Sundae and the other named Gypsy!    They drove HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS just to come up and see ME ME ME (well, my Mom and Dad too…..).     Miss Dianna is a super photographer……..she loves to take photos of the wild horses on the beach down at the Outer Banks but Thursday she took photos of a WILD GINGER BOY (me) instead.     Mom has known Miss Dianna for many years and they met through their BLOGS – how about that!!    Mom and Dad have visited them before too but this was the first time they’d been here since I was adopted.

This first one is my official SELFIE then the others are just of me with Mom or with Miss Dianna and a photo of the four of them having lunch downtown in a restaurant………

AND this is the photo before Mom “Lunapic-ed” it !!

And this is a photo of Mom, Dad, Miss Dianna and her husband having lunch together in downtown Warrenton……………no they did NOT invite me………..yes I did pout about that!

So while today is a Selfie Blog Hop day – I thought I’d toss in some FREEBIES just for the heck of it.   Who knows – I may turn some of these into future Sunday Selfies………….!

    • HAHAHA……..Hi P&P! You ladies are so booooootiful and I would be happy to be EVERYONE’S virtual boyfriend, including y ours – Mom says I’m too young to date but VIRTUAL is good! Glad you like the photos – Mom does too!

    • Oh Miss Katie that makes me all warm and cozy inside that you like me that much and I think you probably know that even a young kitty boy is PURRRFECTLY capable of having a crush on a lady of a certain age – and I do! I do appreciate that….a guy likes to know that pretty girls like him…..pumps up the ego (Mom says my ego is plenty pumped anyway!). Glad you like the latest pix of “The Butterbean”……I’m starting to think Mom’s nickname for me is RIGHT. LOL

  8. My pawrents had a WONDERFUL time visiting all of you. (I mis tell you, Teddy, that my mommy loves your mommy). And I am pouting that I didn’t get to come meet you
    But that would be much too long a trip for a kitty!

    • Miss Pix, Mom likes that photo of her – it’s the only photo of her in over 10 years that she’s liked. LOL I got to meet Mom’s friends and Miss Dianna gave me hugs and pets and THAT was super nice too!!!!!

    • We like the photos too – especially the one of me on Mom’s lap…….even with my laser eyes!! You can really tell how much I’ve grown from those older photos can’t you……..I’m a BIG BOY and a true “lap full” but I think you have one of those too right? A Big Ginger Boy named COOPER MURPHY!!!!!!!!

Hello Miss Dianna if you see this we THANK YOU 87 TIMES FOR THESE GORGEOUS PHOTOS OF OUR BUTTERBEAN TEDDY in all his gingerness and especially for the beautiful photos of him with his loving mom and Dad! OMCs that one of Teddy in Mom’s lap is STUNNING of them. We love the burgundy top she is wearing too!!…of course the group photos of all are most handsome and beautimous too!! Teddy your stripes are so nice and your fur very lush!!

    • Dear Madi, thanks for thinking I look fab in the photos – Mom thinks so too AND especially thanks you for mentioning that photo of her with me on her lap because she likes that photo a lot too! Miss Dianna caught us both at just the right time didn’t she?

    • Thank you Miss Marjorie and cats! We had fun with our company and Miss Dianna did a nice job with the photos – I love the one of me with my Mom. I only recently decided that it might not be so bad to be a “lap cat” !!!

  28. Goodness! How lucky that you got to meet Ms Dianna and Motor Man! Too bad Sundae and Gypsy did not come. And Mr Teddy, you are growing into quite a big Man Cat! You must be the same size as Kozmo, which means you are quite a bit bigger than I.
    I squirm too much for Mommy to weigh me, but I have put on weight since I arrived here too!
    I loved seeing pictures of you and your folks and your company!

    • I squirm a lot too when I’m being weighed…..I figure if I move around enough the scales won’t show that I’m tubby – just that I’ve grown since last weigh-in! Marv you are eating better than maybe ever in your life so you just keep gaining some weight and loving every minute dear friend…….you SOOOOOOOOOOOOO deserve it!

    • Yeah and Mom says she just loves that there’s more than enough to hug, jiggle, and rub!! Twenty one pounds is definitely excellent for weight lifting too! Mom says who needs weights when you’ve got a fat cat!
