Fall Bacon Harvest!
Welcome friends and neighbors – come on in and see what we’ve been up to since early this morning here in the Greenhouse……….I guess you got here by following the road I told you about……sure is a pretty drive this time of year!
Down the long dirt road….
Keep going until it turns sharp right…..
And you’re HERE!!
We’ve got a whole lot of friends here today helping……….as you can plainly see we’ve got a bumper crop this season and Teddy and I are very excited about it. Once we get all the hard work done, we’ll rest up and enjoy some great food and drink to thank you for helping us out.
To help keep everyone hydrated and comfy, you’ll see our friends Madi and Katie Isabella traveling around the greenhouse and the grounds and fields with goodies so just flag them down and help yourselves!

As you can see if you walk around, lots of our friends are already “bringing in the bacon” !!!

Marvelous Marv made a BACON sign and Sammy Pilch is helping him haul in the harvest!
Madi and Katie are not only our “snack queens” but they are ALSO helping with the harvest!

Well they sure went to work quickly – nice that they brought along some friends too!!
Our super duper pals Mauricio, Cooper Murphy AND Mauricio’s wife Allie are working hard……….
We even have our pal Mr. Squirrel – love his hat with Mitzi Bimbocorn’s logo!
When you’re ready for a break – just have a seat under an umbrella and rest up!
Just in case you forgot how the whole bacon greenhouse thing got started, my buddy and pal Mauricio gave me some MAGIC seeds – Bacon seeds – the variety is “CRISPY” and man oh man is it delicious. This is our second harvest and we intend to “KEEP ON PLANTING” !!
Let’s go out in the field and see who’s working out there shall we?
We got more tractor help! Bear (the golden) and Sammy talked their Dad into joining in the harvest!!

Angel Sammy was happy to see his dear friend Angel Flynn made it down from his cloud to help out today too!!

Howdy boys! What a great harvest this year. You’re getting really good at growing bacon. Thanks for the food, drinks and bacon plants plus bacon. What a beautiful fall day it is. Reminds me of my childhood when friends and neighbors helped each other with corn picking. 🌽

Boy, I hadda keep making more and more KoolAid. It was hot work and all of the harvesters were thirsty! They were snitching bacon along the rows to “sample” too as they worked. (well, so did I). That was so nice that Angel Sammy declared that we’d get a seedling of the bacon plant for our own to start at home. I have mine carefully planted now. That Bacon Soda was the bomb! I haven’t seen that until today! Cold and delicious. It was almost more popular than the cherry Kool Aid. I had fun working with the Kool Aid cart. Happy Harvesting.

Thanks for your help Katie! You certainly “decorated the place” with your pretty self AND you worked very hard which Angel Sammy and I appreciated. Glad you liked getting your very own bacon plant. I agree that the snackables and drinkables were delish…..I guess Angel Sammy and I know how to throw a BACON BONANZA when we want to huh??????

Wow! Quite a production! The harvest looks great. So many familiar kitties and pups working. Those crispy bacon seeds are magical. The Kliban kitties… woohoo! CH is awake so have to get started on our Bacon Saturday breakfast! I’m already thinking BLTs for lunch! Mashed Potato Bacon Bombs… you are killing me with the bacon goodies!!!!!!!!!!!

IT was a lot of fun – some new faces and some old faces but a whole lot of bacon grease to go around for everyone! HAHAHA BLTs for lunch? Oh boy……that sounds good. We celebrated YOUR birthday with bacon cheeseburgers night before last – I hope you had fun on YOUR DAY…………..

SammyP was the PERFECT worker – he and Marv teamed up and got a whole lot of bacon picked. We had so much we had EXTRA foodables for everyone to bring home!

I sure hope all the cats didn’t mind that a squirrel showed up (I know the toms were rooting for Mitzi to make a return appearance, but she and Suzie Q were out waaaaaaay too late last night). I hope my harvest squirrel actually brings home some of that bacon and doesn’t keep it all for himself….

Mr. Squirrel and his nuts seemed to have a blast at the harvest! I saw some of the girl cats giving him the eye and I MIGHT have seen him escorting one of the greenhouse workers BEHIND the barn for a little meeting. Ahem. Thanks for sending him – I still have that picture of Mitzi at the last harvest. I’m sure the boys would have kept her busy but then again we never would have been able to harvest the bacon crop!

Dear Mr Sammy and Mr Teddy, what wonderful fun I had pawticipating in the Bacon harvest! I met so many wonderful persons and laughed and joked and ate spectacular food and drank scintillating drinks!
Bacon is so wonderful. AND who knew it could grow from seeds?!

That really was a bumper harvest. I thought that coming from a farm that Flynn wouldn’t be able to resist coming down to help out.

Wow! What a bash! Has it been a whole year since the bacon harvest? Maybe we can get here early to help next time. Weekends are busy with Dad home from the road. But, bacon…I am glad we got here to see it all, though! Hugs, guys. You rock. xo

Actually our last harvest was super early Spring so we squeezed two harvests out this year. Those seeds are MAGIC!

haha…what fun we’re having. Kali and I picked alot of bacon. I’m afraid I ate a fair bit *burp*,,,s’cuse me please. I have an eye on the seed packs for next year in the veggie garden. Thanks for a truck full of fun Teddt ba Angel Sammy.

What a super festival of harvest helpers! Good thing wonderful refreshments were on hand. After all that hard work they were surely appawsiated!
Newbie wants to know what bacon tastes like…maybe next year he, too can be a harvester/helper.
(Newbie, because not sure if he will keep is adoptive name…prolly will, but working on it! BOL/MOL!)
(Pipo is not impressed, but he’s chill most of the time. Long time ago petcretary got hissed by our Angel Suki when she brought in another kitty…OMC!)

Thanks so much for sending Mr. JF to help out – he was a VERY hard worker! I worried that his hat might melt in the sun but even though it didn’t, there were some very envious stares from other harvesters!! We had a blast and the bacon snacks afterwards were sooooooooooooo delicious. I hope that the small bacon plant we gave each harvester will turn into your own personal crop there at home!

It was truly a fabulous growing season wasn’t it? And to think – we owe it all to those magic seeds you gave to us! Thanks for coming to help us bring in the harvest again…..it’s a lot of work but boy oh boy are the “pickings” delicious!

Sam was a BIG BIG help at our harvest! THanks for letting him come by…..we had so much bacon that even if some of us (me included!) had a WHOLE LOT OF IT to eat, there was more and more and more!
