‘Tis Teaser Time Ye Scurvy Students!

(It’s also “Talk Like A Pirate Day” in the blogosphere…..)

Arrrgh!  Take a seat in the pirate ship before class begins but first – remember to COMMENT on this post so you can win a badge!!!!

Also up for grabs today are FLASHBACK badges for FIRST RIGHT GUESSER, RIGHT GUESSER NOT FIRST and WRONG GUESSERS!     We hope you’re enjoying the FLASHBACK badges!!

 

Now, before we get started with the Teaser photo, shall we REVIEW our rules here at Ding Dong School??????

ARRRRGH!!!!   Tell these scurvy students before I make ’em walk the plank!!!!!

OK – here’s the rules for today’s competition!

  1. To win a badge as RIGHT GUESSER, you must guess the TOWN/CITY/VILLAGE and the STATE (if in USA) or COUNTRY (if not in USA) where the photo or photos were taken.
  2. You can’t use any help like GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH – that’s just too easy and no challenge to it at all – we’d like it if you just studied the photos and figured it out without any help!!!!!   That makes the playing field EVEN.

SO – if you are ready to give the Teaser a whirl, let’s bring in our little Teaser Cheerleader – Suzie to get you fired up for studying and guessing!!!!!!

  12. I see London, I see France, I see Sarge’s under… oops, sorry, I forgot that this is a kitten friendly blog. I’m going to guess Paris, France. I’ll take my greenie and cupcake out to the playground. I love everyone’s pirate costumes today.

  19. What an adorable post. We love everyone dressed all piratey, especially Sarge. It really fits his personality. Mom says the best she can do with this is a museum somewhere on planet earth. We’ll ask Dad when he gets home if he knows. If not, we’ll be back tomorrow to find out where and pick up our Greenie. Avast, ye mateys.     • Good Morning!!! It might be the Opera House but Mom won’t tell me – she’s very mean about that – she insists on waiting until TOMORROW to tell me and all of you WHERE the Teaser photo was taken and who sent it in. Tune in tomorrow………….meanwhile, enjoy your Tuesday!!

  22. It certainly looks like Frank Lloyd Wright designs.The circular one looks like the Guggenheim museum in New York City but the building material looks like bamboo. I think that it is NYC and the bamboo Guggenheim is in Chinatown.

    By the way, you’re ALL terrible pirate prattlers. You need to sit on real pirates’ shoulders like I have and you’ll get it.

    • I’m sure you have sat on many a pirate’s shoulder shivering your timbers (is that pirate parrot talk for wings???) and no doubt have ridden many a shoulder to the floor when those scurvy pirates pass out from too much grog!

      We’ll see how your guess(es) were when we get the PIRATE TEASER TELL ALL tomorrow!

  24. Arrrrrrrrr, methinks Suzie looks better without her mustache. And I thought the fact that she never shaved her legs was weird….

    What happens when you hire an abstract architect to design a penitentiary? You get the world’s first Surreal Supermax! Yes, this prison is full of bizarre optical illusions and unconventional design that will fool even the craftiest of inmates. A prisoner who tries escaping his cell in that first picture is just going to end up going around and around in circles until he ends up right back in the middle of his block again. Total number of escapes from the Surreal Supermax in its 15 years of service: ZERO! Unfortunately, 36 inmates have also been lost forever within the jail’s winding corridors, along with 14 guards and two former wardens……

  32. Hello little pirate Teddy and mom! I’m sneaking in late late for your awesome teaser. I don’t know where that building is at all but will guess Montreal Canada. It looks Canadian for some reason. European and American streets aren’t usually so wide and paved so much 😀 Hug-a-roni’s xoxo Boomdee

    That is a good picture for Pirate Day…all that wood…Shiver me timbers…hahahahaha!!! Not even going to venture a guess, so get out some more wood…gotta walk the plank, we think…splash…splunk…sputter…
