I guess my Kingly Decree last week didn’t stop Irma after all but I promised you double ration of bacon this week to make up for NO bacon last Saturday so…………………

I ask your Royal indulgence this morning??????
I’m sure my guests will understand………………oh and when that staff DOES show up – tomorrow or whenever – FIRE THEM!

Yes indeed – we can’t have NO SHOWS working in the kitchen. What about when I have a Kingly reception or party – we can’t have unreliable staff!!!! NOOOOOOO sireee!
UHOH……I didn’t know the household staff was overhearing our conversation Chef – but all our Castle Departments should be staffed with DEDICATED personnel! Oh, Miss Pennyweather, your staff was listening to my conversation with the Chef!!!!
Rest assured your Kingship, Housekeeping is under control!

Oh GREAT! Thanks for all of you coming by the castle this morning to partake of our Saturday Bacon Bonanza! We missed last week because of stupid Irma the hurricane but we’re sure making up for it this morning! Enjoy your bacon feast…..there’s plenty of it that’s for sure…….AND while we’re at it, may we say that your Mom is REALLY one very talented lady…..we love her artwork she’s doing for 30 days of painting. We are CLOSE to bacon harvest time dear Katie……I will have an updated shot on next week’s Saturday post……then PROBABLY the next weekend unless something happens (Sept. 30) we will have the annual HARVEST PAWTY! Stay tuned.

The kitchen staff sounds a lot like the staff I work with at Mecca…. always calling off on weekends! Good call on having them cut loose. Make them have to get jobs working for Ms. Dingleberry preparing those lavish Tuesday spreads and they’ll be sorry they ever lost such a cushy job working for the King of Baconia….

You’re right about that! Miss Dingleberry would show them a thing or two about WORK wouldn’t she? What would be just as bad would be if Sarge were ordering them around the Castle…….I’ve often said “it’s good to be King” and in this instance that’s a big YESSSSS because if I was one of the minions instead of the BIG WAZOO around here, I’d definitely NOT fit in with the Dingleberry/Sarge way of life!

Have you been watching Downton Abbey? I am glad you have your staff under control 🙂 That bacon breakfast pizza looks good. There is a pizza place in the next town that I like to get their beef bacon pizza, it has shredded hamburg and bacon-so good. XO

She runs a tight ship at the Baconian Castle…….she keeps the other staff on their paws alright…….she doesn’t do windows herself but has a window specialist who handles them. She’s on the castle payroll but whatever we’re paying her isn’t enough I’m sure!
