Ding Ding Ding!

Ye Olde School Bell Is Ringing!

Good Morning Students!   Time to file in, take a seat and get ready for class.   HOWEVER, if you forgot to stop by the school entrance long enough to leave a COMMENT, go on back there and do it now – you wanna be FIRST COMMENTER today right?    Of course you do!

Today we have a GUEST TEASER for you and as usual – it’s a toughie – at least we Professors believe it is and if WE do, chances are YOU will too!    Before we get started though a few reminders!

  1. Please remember you must guess not only what TOWN/CITY/VILLAGE the photographer was in to snap this shot, you also must guess the STATE (if in the USA) or COUNTRY (if not in the USA).    BOTH THINGS!
  2. Just so everybody is on a “level playing field”, please don’t use Google Image Search or something similar to just load on the photo and find out where it is – it’s a lot more fun to try and figure it out without “help” !!

Let’s bring SuzieQ in to fire you all up – get your blood circulating to your brain – wake up your brain cells and put a fresh battery in there so you can THINK STRAIGHT shall we?

My favorite day has finally arrived
I can give you a cheer with a dose of jive!
This one’s a gem if I have to admit
It might send you into orbit and cause a fit!
Just take your time and look for clues
If you guess too quickly you might cry the blues.
Tomorrow I’ll cheer for the winners of today
Then I’ll talk to the Profs and demand my pay!!

DEMAND YOUR PAY?   Hmm……your pay today will be a burger and a hot dog courtesy of Miss Dingleberry!!!    But first, we need to show the photo and that means bringing in our fabulous OFFICIAL CLASS SECURITY GUARD………

  13. I’m here! Minion duty comes first. Clyde and I are thinking it is an official building, by its elaborate stairways and landing. It suggests that someone very important rules from there. Who or where…? Governing royalty, somewhere in Europe. Okay, that’s all I’ve got. I am not going to Google the answer. That is cheating, I know. So, that’s our story; Clyde and I are sticking to it. HUGS!

    • You and Clyde did some heavy duty sleuthing didn’t you! Oh and by the way, Minions ALWAYS come first! Tomorrow Mom will whisper where this was taken to ME and Angel Sammy and I will BLAB it to the world on the Teaser Tell All so tune in tomorrow to see if you and Clyde were on the right track!

      • Yes, we did. I tend to notice and remember everything. It is something I learned to do in childhood. It is part curiosity and part survival. I research things that are unknown or new to me. Except this. I wait until you tell us the answer. Then, I read up on it! I must admit, my detailed memory can be annoying to some people… Bill… *wink*. HUGS!

        • Keeping your memory sharp is impawtant (my old Mom says)……details are the name of the game AND following up if you find something you don’t know about by looking it up! We try to give links for all the Teaser photos if we get them from those who send in their “possible Teaser” photos. We have fun learning stuff about them all too!!!! GOOD LUCK!

    • Marv you may have TWO orders of bacon fries if you want! Sure we can’t interest you in anything else? I’m glad you and your Mom came by this morning and we’ll see if you and Phenny are right about the Teaser – tomorrow my Mom will tell me WHERE and WHO on this photo. Maybe it is Versailles……!

  15. Thank you for the hot dog and the bacon fries. I would have guessed sooner but I got bacon grease on my mom’s keyboard and I had to lick it all off before I could type again. I’m thinking like others, that it looks very much like a royal palace. Is it the royal palace in Denmark. ~Calvin~

    • Hi Calvin! Grease on the keyboard? That’s a hazard here too since Mom spends so darn much time on her computer she winds up eating meals and snacks here all the time! I think that’s why some of the keyboard keys are shinier than others! We’ll find out tomorrow if it’s a royal palace in Denmark…….tune in for the TELL ALL.

  21. I know why you think this one is so tough, because at first glance it looks so much like a big, honkin’ prison, right? How could it be anything other than a THE Big House? Well, it’s not a prison, of course. At least, not quite. You see…. there is a prison to be found here, but it’s behind that giant WALL that just looks like a prison! Notice how flat the perspective is….. yeah. that isn’t really a building, it’s a wall! A wall built around the entire state of Wyoming, which has been re-purposed as the country’s largest prison! I believe it was George Carlin who first suggested turning large, square states into fenced-in penitentiaries to help contain the exploding prison population. It was pure genius, and I’m glad to see we’ve finally made the Supermax state a reality!!!

    P.S. – Never…. and I mean NEVER ask Ms. Dingleberry for a “dog.” You might get just what you asked for………

    • Ah ha! So that’s what we did to Wyoming huh? I thought we were turning the whole USA into a prison – we’re putting walls up right? Well, sort of anyway……well, not really sort of, but just maybe……You know I always wondered what we could use Wyoming for. Glad to see someone is figuring that all out – I bet Miss Dingleberry had a hand in it.

  23. Mom was up early. And SHE forgot the Teaser! I had breakfast with Teddy then went back to bed. Just as well; I have no idea where that magnificent building is!

  25. It’s in Washington DC. It’s the headquarters of the Disabled Bureau (a division of Health and Human Services). They purposely put in a LOT of stairs so none of the people that they serve can get in and bother them with work. The big wigs are in the top floor and there are no elevators.

    • Oh I bet you enjoyed your walk – I was out with my Dad for a whole hour walking around the yard (and lying in the dirt too). It’s a nice day here…..72 and partly sunny. I had plenty of food set aside for you Clowie! Glad you enjoyed it!

  32. Howdy and good morning! We slept in and are late to the party. We don’t expect to be first right anything, but we do have an educated guess. Is it the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Sweden? We think it is.

  33. I am late because I forgot…petcretary has a funeral to attend in about an hour…she had that on her mind. Sheesh. Oh well, honoring peeps and their furmily is impawrtant too.
    Anypaws she whispered that she has read some books where the peeps traveled a bit and wow, they went to Stockholm.
    That is the eastern facade of the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Sweden. It sure has a lot of history behind it. Its also known as the Queen’s gate/entrance.

    See ya, petcretary says some bacon fries and onion rings might keep her going for a while…and dog-guy would love a burger. I will nosh on a hot dog! Mmmm! It had a nip dace on it…wonder where that came from?

    • Oh so sorry your petcretary had to go to a funeral…..thanks for sliding by to peek at the Teaser. You may be right on where it is but then again maybe not (!!). Stop by tomorrow and find out! You can definitely visit Miss D’s tent outside in the playground and help yourself to burgers, dogs and side stuff! Miss D adds all kindsa stuff to her food including nip – she says it makes us kids NICER!

  34. So much for me getting here early! We had to get a puncture mended and decided to do a few other things while we were out and only just got back. Two hours turned into five but at least I had lunch out instead of having to get it. I will have to think about this photo.

    • I saved plenty of foodables for you all – So happy you were able to get here at all considering you were in the middle of Irma!!! So happy you’re OK………I asked Miss Dingleberry to keep lunch nice and hot for you so have a seat and EAT!!!!!
