Before we go any further – please remember to COMMENT on this post – why?  Because you might be the first one to make a comment of any kind and if you ARE, you will win this:

Sarge will escort you to the COMMENT area, then hurry back OK?

tick tock tick tock

Alright students – let’s get back into the classroom!

Today’s Teaser is a GUEST TEASER and tomorrow we’ll tell you WHO gave us the photo.    But your mission stays the same as always – to figure out WHERE this photo was taken and use the following classroom rules please (or Sarge will make you stand in the corner with the dunce cap on!).

  1. We must know in what town/city/village as well as what STATE (if in USA) or COUNTRY (if not in USA) the photo(s) were taken.
  2. We ask that you NOT use Google Image Search to get the answer because – well – JUST BECAUSE!

Got it?   OK – let’s bring on Suzie to pep you up!

OK class let’s give it a go!
Rev your engines – don’t go slow!
Study the photos I’m sure you will try
If you don’t make the effort you might make me cry!
Examine and look close and try your best
You might win a badge to “feather your nest” !
If yesterday’s eclipse didn’t burn up your eyes
Maybe Miss Dingleberry will serve up some fries!!!!

OK Suzie – that was one of your SHORTER cheers but the message was clear……………and I just know that nobody wants you to cry – you’re scary enough when you’re in a bad mood – if you’re depressed heaven only knows how you’ll be.

What’s Up For Grabs

If you make a guess and you are the FIRST to be right with that guess (WOO HOO) you will win this:

If you make a CORRECT guess but you’re not the first one to do so, you win one of these:

If you are WRONG – you tried but didn’t hit a homerun, make a touchdown, score a goal (tee hee), you get one of these:

So now you know what’s at stake, how about we bring in our fabulous MAN WITH THE PHOTO – the guy whose job it is to guard the top secret Teaser photo(s) from week to week – let’s have a big hand for Mr. Silver Briefcase!!!!!!

HOOORAAAAAAY!

Here’s this week’s photo Professor!

WHERE OH WHERE WAS THIS PHOTO TAKEN????????????

Tomorrow we will have our Teaser Tell All and we will tell you WHO our Guest was and where the photo was taken – I’ll also show you some MORE photos from this place!

SO, let’s get guessing students…….

If you’re wondering what Miss D has in store for you today – it’s PIZZA DAY!

No pushin, shoving, being rude, and no dirty hands – I’m gonna be INSPECTING them before you can have your pizza! Also NO FRIES TODAY – Suzie should have checked with me first before she did her cheer!!!!!!

  1. No clue, I see lobster traps though. I’m going to steal Da Phenny’s guess and say Maine, U.S.A. I was looking forward to fries, but pizza’s good.

    • Maine, USA is Phenny’s standard answer when he’s not sure!!! HAHAHAHA Yeah I thought fries would be good too but I’ve already decided to ask Miss D if we can have a “GREASYFOODFEST” next Tuesday. You know, complete with fries, fried chicken and anything else that is greasy. Of course we’ll have to promise not to TOUCH the playground equipment afterwards!

      Hugs, Teddy

  2. Hmmmm…. you’ve really been trying to stump me lately. But I can tell that underneath that peaceful, tranquil scene lies Aquatraz, the world’s only underwater prison! I hear Jaws swims the corridors of death row every night…

Oh, and NO FRIES!?!?!? That’s it….. I’m starting a FOOD FIGHT!!!!!!!!

    • AQUATRAZ!!!! Hee Hee…..now THAT would make for the first non-over-crowded prison I think don’t you? There’s lotsa room 20,000 leagues under the sea and who would want to escape and drown doing so?????? Gosh – the mind boggles…I’m gonna suggest to Miss D by the way, that we have a “GREASE-FEST” at school next week……fries, fried chicken – you know – the works! How’s THAT sound?

      Hugs, Teddy

  3. It’s a picturesque sea side town on the other side of the Atlantic! That’s the best I can do right noe. I shall have to think on this. Purrhaps pizza will help get the gears going!
    Thank you Ms D!

  4. You stumped us! Europe? Mom says that’s the best she can do. If somebody gets this, they must have an eidetic memory. Too many visitors already to read through comments and see guesses. Of course, we only do this after we guess. Try to stay cool. It’s going to be another hot and humid day. Icky sticky! Thanks for the pizza noms. Yummy. • Yes – we think it might be icky here eventually but right now it’s 75 and sunny but non-icky. No doubt it’s coming though……..as for the Teaser – this is an interesting Teaser we think – so many things stand out in the photo that make you not QUITE sure you know……Netherlands? England? Then of course we have the “Maine-IACS” ! Tee Hee……..thank heavens we have pizza to console us along the Teaser-Way right?

  5. Good morning, guys! I have been so busy with the minions, that I forgot. But, I am here, now…it certainly does not look like harbour towns in the Great Lakes, which is my home. But, I am going to guess…Crail, Scotland. It is a shot in the dark, because I don’t think it is the U.S. But, I am often wrong. Now, I need more coffee…HUGS!

    • Oh Scotland – my Mom and Dad LOVED LOVED LOVED Scotland……..but is that where someone took this photo? I guess we’ll have to sit on the edge of our seats until tomorrow to find out! I hope the minions are doing well – they are so darn adorable.

  6. We would be shocked if we ever had a right guess on any of the places posted…we do know we have never been to this place so we have no idea where it is. It is fun to come read all the guesses. It is a bit early for us and pizza but we thank you anyway. Hugs and nose kisses

  7. There are no letters and numbers on the boats’ bows. These are the boats licence and you have to pay to get them. Therefore, there’s no tax. No tax, where can that be???? I guess Fantasyland.

  8. Oh no, I’m late. I forgot it was Tuesday.
It looks like an English fishing harbour. I don’t think it is in the Westcountry where I live because fishermen’s cottages are more traditional than those tall houses. I think it is more likely it could be in the North of England, maybe Scarborough.
I will have to think on it and maybe get out some of my old pre digital photo albums.

    • I think that could be Whitby Abbey on the top of the hill. It is a different angle than my photos, but after enlarging the photo I can see what looks like the ruins on the right side of the tower. There is a whalebone archway up there somewhere too but I can’t see that. Whitby Abbey is where Bram Stoker got his inspiration for Dracula.

      • Hi Miss Jackie! Purrrrhaps you’re right? We shall find out tomorrow when we have our TELL ALL………a whalebone archway sounds intriguing though no matter WHERE it is located………I guess related to being a fishing village back in the whaling days.

  9. Yikes, I forgot to come here early…and the day is about all spent! As well as lots of guesses. At first I thought, Hmmm, Netherlands…but the buildings don’t look like the ones I would expect there…and it does look more European than American. Hmmm…I think some other guessers got it.
Whitby, North Yorkshire, England, with Whitby Abby ruins in the background.

And one thing I do know: It is NOT Whitby, Ontario, Canada!! MOL!
