Teaser Tell All

Good Morning Class!

Good Morning Teaser Students!!

Teddy and I are here to give you the scoop on yesterday’s PAWSOME Teaser photo here in Geography class.    We are proud of all of you for showing up on time but only ONE of you was the first one through the door of school yesterday morning and made the first comment – wanna know who???

Miss Csilla (kolytyi) !!!

She was barely awake as she’d had a rough night with being awoken with noise from a storm – poor thing………..but she got here one minute after we went live so she gets the FIRST COMMENTER BADGE!

For being first commenter on the Teaser of July 11, 2017!

YES congratulations Miss Csilla………………

Now shall we tell you a bit about the photograph?    How about I start with letting you know that our Guest Teaser was Miss Steph from my friend Gracie’s blog HERE.    Miss Stephanie has a friend who travels a whole bunch and she has his permission to use some of his travel photos – this is one of them….let’s give Miss Steph her badge then I’ll show you the photo again!

For Miss Steph for Teaser of 7/11/17

And here’s the photo we used for yesterday’s Teaser project!!

I have to say we thought this would be a real good Teaser photo because there are a LOT of ruins in MANY places that look like this – you couldn’t really tell from the landscape either – but we DID have several RIGHT GUESSERS and many other excellent guesses that were wrong too!      Where was it taken???    TIKAL, GUATEMALA!!!!!     Amazing structures these pyramids are and as I said they can be found in many spots.

WHO was our very FIRST RIGHT GUESSER?????

Miss Csilla AGAIN!!

That’s right – she got TWO badges this time on the Teaser…..WOOT WOOT!

Here’s your badge Miss Csilla!

For Teaser of July 11, 2017

Everyone else who guessed correctly – and there were several of you (!!), get this badge:

For Teaser of July 11, 2017

If you guessed incorrectly – please help yourself to one of these NEW Greenies:

For Teaser of July 11, 2017

Now our SuzieQ, Cheerleader to the Stars (or maybe just Cheerleader to the Teaser Geography class!!!!!) has a little cheer for you today!   TAKE IT AWAY SUZIE!

Look at Csilla she’s the big winner
AND she managed to stay awake for class and not miss her dinner!
She’s always here on Tuesdays – even if half awake
She often earns a badge that’s hers to take!
First Comment and First Right means a double win
Which is almost as cool as Miss Dingleberry’s double CHIN!
There were others who got it and I’m proud of you all
I may be little but my cheers are TALL!!!!

Good job Suzie!    Now you have a whole week to work on cheers for Pre-Tease Monday next week………………..that is if you have time between dates!

Have a good week students now it’s time for recess!

  1. Congrats to Miss Csilla twice over! I did get it right eventually but it took me a long time because I had to look through pre digital photos.

  2. OMG, Suzie, what a kind cheer! Thanks!!! Do you know how I found it? First, I googled “Mexico pyramids”. Nope. Then, I thought that it’s so strange that is should be rather not an ancient pyramid but a fake one. Thus, I googled “pyramid ruins USA”. Yes, USA!!!! And voila, the fourth pic was the right one!

    • I think that’s hilarious that it popped up as USA…….oh well….maybe Tikal, Guatemala is reached via a secret tunnel in the middle of the USA????? Concatulations Miss Csilla – that’s some method!

  3. I knew it was in Guatemala at least having seen a kazillion pictures taken by my son. My son has been in Guatemala and Belize for several weeks at a time helping the local government in a town there via his (he is a teacher) and Guatemala’s educational system. I sent a screen capture to him too late for me to win this photo ID, and he identified it by sight.

  4. *good grief* That was our second choice. Well, C’est la vie. These do get me thinking, though. I am doing so much writing lately that it gives me a chance to contemplate geography, too. I used to be good at it! Hugs, guys…and Mom Pam!

    • It’s great that you’re writing a lot Miss Annie!! Geography was never one of my Mom’s strong points – I’m satisfied with knowing the geography in my own yard so my world is rather small anyway!

      Hugs, Teddy
