We’re Back!  

Summer School is officially in session……

Hope you had a nice long holiday weekend – we did here in the USA with our Memorial Day weekend and extra day off yesterday.  Of course school was not in session because of that but today we’re back in business with school, cheers, grumpy class monitors, AND of course our Teaser photo!

First thing to do today is COMMENT ON THIS POST!   That’s right – go ahead and comment because maybe you will be our first commenter and if you are, well, you get a BADGE to celebrate that honor with – cool?  Indeed!   If more than one of you posts a comment in the first minute, you each get a badge……we’ll tell you tomorrow WHO wins.

OK, everybody sit up straight in your seats and pay attention because I’m going to have Suzie do her cheer THEN we’ll bring in our fabulous security guard who will post our Teaser photo for today.   This is a GUEST TEASER photo – and your job will be to examine it and tell me WHERE WAS THE PHOTO TAKEN????   What town/city/village and what State (if in USA) or Country (if NOT USA) the person who took the photo was IN at the time.   Got it?

Well done Suzie………the only THREAT I heard was the one about body slamming if our students don’t examine the photo right?   OK!   On that high note let’s bring in our security guard and the TEASER PHOTO OF THE WEEK!

    • Hi Miss Layla! We will find out tomorrow if those curvy tram lines in this photo are in Milan or some other pretty corner of our great big world!! Thanks for guessing – visit me tomorrow to see how you did – meanwhile, HAPPY TUESDAY!

    • Oh Madi – you are right that the photo is NOT from your house or even your driveway! I just bet those peeps won’t be bringing back anything for YOU either…..typical. Suzie would look kind of scary if she got puffy don’t you think?????

        • Yes you’re right about pups – single pups just aren’t quite as happy as multiples whereas kitties are fine on their own with their peeps!!! Nellie Bellie probably has several alternative plans for you Miss Barb – hang on to your hat……! LOL

  16. I’m last (as usual) but have no problem with my role of bringing up the rear. But (again) as usual, no clue on where this is but think it’s someplace in Italy perhaps? I think I spied red, white and green in the flag.

  18. That would be a picture of the historically important Transcontinental Prison Railroad…. where trains full of nation’s most notorious criminals would pass through on the way to The Big House. As the Felony Express passed through town, citizens were encouraged to come out of their homes and throw garbage at the inmates while warning their children what would be waiting for them if they misbehaved later in life. The TCPRR worked quite effectively as a Scared Straight program…

    P.S. Half of the critters on my shelf took Suzie’s cheer the wrong way and are now gathering up forks and other assorted implements to “stick in her”….

    • UHOH……Suzie might be finally feeling the FEAR FACTOR…..normally she’s pretty sturdy stuff but maybe those critters of yours have given her pause (paws). She really should make sure she doesn’t invite anyone to “stick a fork” in her or any other sharp implement like a kabob skewer! Tomorrow I will be showing everyone a photo of her “fluffy” – she has been fluffy before and I captured her in that state (and it ain’t pretty believe me). As for your guess, I hope they stop at the bottom of that big hill and make the inmates clean up all the garbage that’s been tossed at them as they travel to THE BIG HOUSE…I know I see inmates cleaning up along the side of the road here all the time!!!!!

  19. Mom’s first inclination was Italy, and she sees several people guessed Milan, so we’ll jump on that bandwagon. What the heck. We too want to see SuzieQ all fluffed up. So today your comment came through on our blog again. Crazy. Seems it is an every other day thing. Humans are heading out for a bike ride very soon. Love to all. Where to find cool treasure like those in this post.

    • Oh I hope your humans get a nice bike ride. We have showers coming and going all morning. It’s damp and ugly out but not POURING rain anyway. As for the Teaser – yes several have guessed Milan or other cities in Italy but we will have to wait until tomorrow to find out if that’s right or WHAT?!

  20. It’s gotta be Italy. Where else do you have no form of transportation on the street but everyone parks on the sidewalk? I’ll say Palermo because not only are the trains not running on time, they’re not running at all.

    • Golly Kismet you are so smart……we didn’t know that people park on the sidewalk in Italy…..but you’re right – there’s no sign of a train or tram though! We’ll see if you are a smart BURD tomorrow!

  22. Lets see….huge cobblestones, signs to say where to cross, tram tracks right though where you are supposed to drive/walk….but all kinds of those funny hitching posts, but we don’t see any horses, MOL!

    We do see a sign pointing the way to some church, so when you get all confuserated by those peeps on their motorbikes(We call those ‘brommers’, which means something along the line of a noisy motor…), and cars getting close to the doors of shops or dwellings so nobody else can look in, let alone open the doors of those cars….you can go to the church to get yourself back together again as it were.
    Well all that means some ancient city in Europe. That much we can figure out! We think if you lived there with those truly narrow streets, you might best get around on a ‘brommer’ rather than take your life in your paws with a car…or just walk, on the purr-purr side of those hitching posts! MOL, MOL!!
    Since so many already here ages before us say Italy, we must go with the flow…it keeps the traffic from snarling you know…so we’ll say some old city street in an Italian city with a church, MOL!

    We might just need a greenie this week:)

  33. Well, this one is hard Teddy and Angel Sammy. There are few indications to lead us in the right direction. The vehicles are on the sidewalk….why? I don’t know, but will say Italy…perhaps Milano. Our neighbour is named Milan so we feel comfortable with that name.
