Let’s Fill In Some Sentences!
Friday means joining one of our favorite Blog Hops – Friendly Fill-Ins which is co-hosted by Miss Ellen of 15andMeowing and Miss Ann of McGuffy’s Reader. All you have to do is fill-in the sentences they give us…………….two sentences are from Ellen and two from Ann and that’s all there is to it other than clicking the above badge and going to McGuffy’s Reader and using the LINKY tool to sign up your blog! Easy right?
This week we have let Teddy do the filling in………kind of scary to give that much power to a kitten but we thought it might be fun so here goes. Teddy’s fill-ins are in RED!
1. An Easter (or Passover) tradition I have is (will be) getting an Easter Basket from my Mom and Dad! Angel Sammy said he always did so I hope that’s a new tradition for ME!
2. My favorite flavor of ice cream is Vanilla – of course something ELSE might be a favorite but so far I’ve only had vanilla from my Mom – I’m willing to give others a try though!.
3. One of my favourite Easter/Passover memories is Nothing since this is my first Easter so I’ll let my Mom answer this one. Hello everyone – this is “Mom” and one of my favorite Easter memories was when I was a little girl and we lived in Weisbaden, Germany. Our housekeeper was a lovely German lady and she brought my brother and me a very special German Easter egg full of tiny, very sweet little special candies. Funny because I’ve had many Easter baskets since and all kinds of candies and goodies but I remember HERS over all the others.
So there you have it! That’s the last Fill-In before Easter so in case we don’t have a chance to say this again before Easter Sunday……………..HAVE A BLESSED EASTER OR PASSOVER!

I will get an easter basket too… and it it is my furst one too…. do you think the easterbunny picked the right gifts for us? I hope so…. I’m very nervous and I hope I will find my easterbasket soon :o) Happy Good Furryday!

Oh Phenny I just bet the Bunny knows what you and I would both like in our Easter baskets!! I will get my basket on Easter morning – along with my Dad who will have to hunt for eggs inside the house (my Mom is Mrs. Easter Bunny!)!

I don’t remember – I can “see” it but have no idea what it was – just remember they were VERY sweet and I would try and make them last and last because I didn’t want them to be all gone.

You did a great job on the fill-ins Teddy, that was a lot of work for a little guy. I hope you have a nice Easter and I think it is sweet that you will get a basket like Angel Sammy. I love that photo of him and tissue paper is perfect for a kitty Easter basket, a safe alternative to grass plus you can play with it. I am growing kitty grass for ours, but I started too late so it may not be tall enough to chew on. XO

We think our peeps reserve the Easter baskets for the grands, but we are sure we will get some turkey, veggies, and ice cream – vanilla too. We are going to have to see what dicentra are – they must be very pretty.

Dicentra are also called “bleeding hearts” – the flowers are rows of tiny heart-shaped flowers – just gorgeous…..we have pink ones and white ones and they are perennials AND they self-sow so we have lots!! HAPPY EASTER and I hope you score some turkey!

My Mom and Dad don’t really get ice cream much….if Mom makes an apple pie she will get a small container of it for pie a la mode and that’s how I managed to SCORE some!

Oh I will see if we can’t come up with not just a fun Easter basket for the boy but a special treat. I guess he had an Easter last year – after all we didn’t adopt him until he was almost a year old……..but I don’t think his Easter was special nor do I think he had a lot of “special” up to that point in his little short life. My job now is to make the REST of it special…….just like he is! HAPPY EASTER ANNIE!

I looked online yesterday to see if I could find the candies that our housekeeper put in those eggs – I DID find antique eggs like the ones she brought to us which you could fill but never did see the candy!
