Filling In Sentences is Fun!

Friday’s here and it’s time to fill in some sentences……..our co-hosts, 15andmeowing and McGuffy’s Reader each give us TWO sentences and we fill in the blanks.  It’s a TOTALLY fun hop and we hope you join in – just click on the badge above, use the LINKY tool and enter your blog post with your beautifully filled in sentences!    Easy Peasy right?    Here are the sentences we have for this week and Teddy and I voted to let Mom handle the answers.   Her “fill-ins” are in BLUE!

1.I don’t understand why “rap” music is so popular?

2. My in case of emergency person is my husband David.

3. There is so much hate and violence in the world compared to back when I was growing up!

4. I would be lost without my cats.

Yesterday we asked that you help us propel Teddy into racing stardom at Cat Scouts by voting for his “ride” in this year’s CARDWOOD DERBY at Cat Scouts.    The winner is determined by popular votes for the most part so we are giving you the link to the vote page – sadly you can’t see ALL the entries there but this is Teddy’s fabulous car – the only rules for this race are that your vehicle must be made out of a cardboard box AND that you be photographed INSIDE your car to qualify.    This year there are ALL kinds of fun and crazy vehicles and Teddy’s is among them – because he’s driving a MILK TRUCK!!!

  1. that’s such a cool racecar Teddy….and we all love moo-juice, so you are anyway a winner with that ride!!!! I agree the world has changed since the good ole days…. but if the peeps can change the world to the bad we maybe can change it to the good too? should be possible… even when it sounds like a difficult diy-project ;o)

    • I agree with you Phenny about the state of the world – WE can make the change and I think ALL THINGS ARE PAWSIBLE if we try. Glad you like my moo juice truck! Mom and Dad did a good job with construction and I’m just the right driver for it! I’m also happy that you had such a GRAND time in Pawris!

    • Hi Basil! I wish you had time to do one and visit us at Scouts too but I know how super busy you are……….I’m glad you like my truck – I thought it reflected the “inner me” (or maybe my inner tummy???).

    • Thanks for the vote………wouldn’t it be cool to know how the voting is going so far??? Tee Hee………anyway, the fill-ins were fun as usual this week. Makes Fridays a whole lot of fun – seems Mom gets to answer them most of the time though – maybe Teddy and I should hijack next week’s to answer ourselves!!!!

  13. We know Teddy is getting lots of votes in the derby. We think he has the most unique entry! Both Mom and Dad voted using different computers, and each voted for Teddy in every category, including Fastest. Mom totally agrees with Mom Pam’s fill-ins. Rap isn’t music, and the world is such a different place from when our mom’s were growing up. Mom always says that she’s happy she’s old and not growing up during these times.     I don’t like rap music either.

    I think there has always been lots of hate and violence in this world, just maybe we were protected from some of it when we were little. Now that we’re adults, the blinders of childhood are off, plus more people talk about it now than back then. There is also more access to news stories of all kinds. I think there likely is more badness due to the fact that there are more people, but the fact that we’re hear about it so much (all-day access to news rather than just at 6pm and 10pm) makes it seem like there is way more now than then. Whatever is the actual case, there is just way too much of it out there. People ought to be nice to each other!

    • Oh Teddy would love to come to your pawty Raena…………and we’re happy you like Teddy’s milk truck – he had a special outfit to wear but refused to cooperate so we had to do it “au natural” !!!!
