Every Sunday we join The Cat On My Head’s selfie blog hop and boy is it fun.   We love to see everyone strutting their stuff in a selfie…………today we let Teddy shine again – he’s the star of the show pretty much these days around here.   We did a Lunapic selfie with the “Sadness” filter – why “Sadness”?   No reason – we’re FAR from sad…………we had a wonderful time yesterday with the BACON HARVEST….it was just an interesting effect to Teddy’s photo that’s all!

Thank you to everyone who came to the Bacon Harvest yesterday.  It was so much fun……wouldn’t have been the same without all of you!   If you missed it, go back to yesterday’s post and check it out.  It was amazing.   We had a GIVEAWAY too – everyone who said they wanted to be in the running for the Giveaway went into the Randomizer online and we’re excited to say who the THREE winners are:

    • Funny about the mouse. It was one of Sammy’s first toys so it was 17 years old…..Sammy played with it for about three years then one day Mom found it in my Dad’s chair at the kitchen table….the chairs had “bars” across the back and the mouse tail hung out the bars (looked like my Dad had a tail…tee hee) – Dad wanted to just leave it there – he said there must be a reason why Sammy wants it there. SO that’s where it’s been all those years. When I came to live here I soon discovered that mouse and pulled it out of Dad’s chair and started playing with it and carrying it EVERYWHERE. It’s my VERY favorite thing. I sleep with it, ask my Mom to throw it for me to fetch – but it’s really falling apart now. Mom is keeping it together with one of my Dad’s old handkerchiefs cut into strips and tied around to keep the “innards” from coming out! I’m afraid it doesn’t have long to live. Mom got a brand NEW mouse but I won’t touch it. I want Sammy’s old, beat up, worn out mousie!

  3. We love that art effect and MUSt try it when we’re feeling blue. Maybe if we’re not feeling blue. BTW Teddy we think U r awfully handsome. Are you old enough to be our firtual boyfriend? We were working on Sammy when we went off to that bridge place but we think you are very cool…

    • Hi pretty ladies! Well, I just turned one – is that old enough for romance? Angel Sammy hasn’t had a “talk” with me yet about girls so maybe I’m still too little. Or maybe because I am still so young that I’m running around the house 100mph and acting like a crazy man most of the time means I’m not “settled” down enough for girls? Questions, questions…….!!

  4. Oh, that is a SWEET selfie of baby Teddy! And concats to the winners of the giveaway. That was SOME special event yesterday…..yummy food and great company! It was nice how efurryone worked together.
    Motor Mommy has heard about that old mousie toy of yours, Angel Sammy, and how Teddy has adopted it as his own. Sweet!

    • Poor mousie – he’s really just about had it. There’s only so many operations you can perform on a “well-loved” toy…..but toys WERE made to be played with and Angel Sammy and I have played the HECK out of this thing!!!!!

    • Glad you like my mousie selfie…………I ADORE the mouse and I just hope that Angel Sammy won’t mind that I’ve WORN IT OUT since I’ve been here. Thankfully Mom keeps patching it up but I’d say it won’t last much longer for sure!!!!

    • We heard Phenny has been on a roll with winning…….Lucky boy!!! We wish we could have had TEN winners instead of THREE but Mom said “we have to stop somewhere” and picked three. HAHAHA We sure did have fun at the harvest yesterday and we had some bacon this morning too!

    • That Phenny guy is one lucky pup!!! Thanks Madi for coming to help us harvest AND for operating that fabulous snackie-barrow! It was a perfect thing to have moving around the grounds of the greenhouse where everyone could wet their whistle! It was a TON of fun………..

    • We assume Lunapic called that “look” SADNESS because of the blue? Anyway, we liked it – glad you do too! So happy you had fun at the harvest -it was amazing and we were FLOORED how many people wanted to be in the giveaway.     I almost forgot! I am glad to see we are bookends again today. I thought I might be too late this week because we have lost our hour as well now.

    • I was thrilled that we were bookends Flynn!!! How amazing we manage to do that so frequently!!! I hope your Mum had a HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY yesterday too….. Thank you for coming to the harvest Flynn because Angel Sammy and I both said that it would NOT have been as much fun without YOU.

    • I’m glad you all enjoyed your bacon! Nothing quite like it is there?! I suppose we will be having another harvest next year – no doubt there will be more seeds sown this Fall in prep for NEXT Spring! I’m already looking forward to that!

  28. Oh Angel Sammy and Teddy! Mes wants to thanks yous for the lovely time yesterday! Mes had so furry much fun! Its pretty cool that Teddy’s favorite toy is one of Sammy’s! Kozmo’s favorite was one of Hissy old Licorice’s that Mommy found under the refrigerator 2 days before Kozmo came to lives with mes! He still has it (after 7 years) and boy its well loved!
    Mommy had to repair it quite a few times!

    • Hi Nellie! Thank you for honoring us with your beautiful presence at the harvest. It wouldn’t have been the same without you! Mom thinks it’s pretty neat that Teddy’s favorite toy out of the 87 million I left for him is the old white mousie. Poor thing……we’re thinking its’ tail will be the next to go. I’m surprised it’s still attached! Mom is sewing and patching almost every day but it’s just about HAD IT!

    • He LOVES that toy – in fact he LOVES IT TO PIECES (literally!). That poor thing looks incredibly horrible. Mom is too embarrassed to even take a photo of it. I’m sure anyone else would have thrown it away a million “tosses and fetches” ago but not my Mom……..HAHAHAHA
