Tell All Time!

Hello Class!    I know everyone is anxious to know how the Teaser turned out yesterday – especially after I said it was an almost impossible photo and that it would be HORRIBLY HARD!

First things first……………..We had TWO “FIRST COMMENTERS”………………..two rang through during the first minute the post went live yesterday – who?

Now let me tell you that our GUEST TEASER had sent in a photo for the very first time for us to use AND we thought that it would be a very tough photo………that we just might fool everybody!   My Guest Teaser was Miss Ingrid of MEEZERS,MEWS & FRECKLES’ WOOFS (Pipo, Minko and Mr. Jack Freckles) and it’s a photo of the Castle Bouvigne near Breda, Noord Brabent, Holland.    Such a gorgeous photo:

Well Miss Ingrid, we didn’t fool everyone (as you will see shortly!) but you STILL sent us a fab photo and we present you with the Guest Teaser’s Badge as a THANKS for sending it in!!

So I guess now you’d like to know who was the SMARTY who guessed the Teaser Photo first?    First of all it wasn’t long after we went live that we got the FIRST correct guess – and that was by Flynn’s Mum at Two Devon Cats!     I know Flynn is proud that he and his Mum put their heads together and came up with the RIGHT guess (turned out Miss Jackie has been there before!).    This is for you!

THEN came in several other CORRECT guesses as to where the photo was taken – – – all of you who were additional smarties will get this:

Of course there was a sprinkling of INCORRECT guesses and you all get the GREENIE for your collections!

Thanks Miss Ingrid and thanks to everyone for showing up to see the photo yesterday AND tuning in to see the winners TODAY!

  2. Congratulations to the winners! Thanks Miss Ingrid for sending in the guest photo. Angel Sammy has been such a great geography teacher that it’s getting harder to fool the class. And I bet Teddy will continue to be a great teaching assistant. I always look forward to Tuesday’s class. 😊

    • I love Teaser Tuesday too…….it’s just FUN all the way around but especially nice to learn about places in the world that we probably won’t ever see “in person”! Teddy and Angel Sam will be continuing classes as long as people tune in to attend them! Next Tuesday will be our 200th TEASER. Imagine that.

    • I think that castle would be fun to live in too Phenny…..I bet there’s a lot of mice running around and you’d only need to dive out a window if you wanted to take a swim!

    • Well I know what you mean because MOST of the photos we get from other people are places we’ve never seen……..thankfully these days you can find just about ANYTHING online though “castles in water” on Google search would probably have shown a photo of this beautiful castle. Not that I advocate using Google search to do the TEASER but that’s one way you CAN without having BEEN somewhere!

    • HAHAHAHA……in your Mom’s defense, a lot of the “not USA” photos would be tough to figure out if you didn’t do a lot of traveling ’round the world……….although these days you can find just about EVERYTHING online one way or another! We’ll probably have another Guest Teaser next week so make sure and have your Mom tuned up and tuned in!

    • ALRIGHT! I like your attitude lady! Next week’s Teaser hasn’t been chosen yet but I have a HUGE PILE of photos from potential Guests so chances are it will be from that pile! Batten the hatches and tune in for possible arches and other things………..

  12. Well, Flynn and Mom Jackie seem to rarely be stumped by these photos. Mom is now on a mission to find a photo for you to use to stump all these smarty-pants guessers.     • It will truly be QUITE A DAY when everyone is fooled…….I think that may have happened a time or two but not many……nobody guessed that photo of Roanoke did they???????????

  15. @Flynn and Mom Jackie: You were amazing!!! We thought not evfur having heard of that pretty little gem until our petcretary;s cousin took her there that no one else would have either…MOL!!! Concats to you! Has your Mom not been anywhere?? Tee-hee!

    It was fun to send in that so called hard teaser:)

    Ah well, that’s how it goes sometimes! It was a fun time reading all the guesses, right and wrong and hard not to say anything…now she will try to dig up some other picture from her not so large collection of travel pictures…some of which need to be scanned into digital form, they are that old:)
    Yup, Petcretary is getting to be of ancient vintage herself, though not as old as that castle, MOL!

    • We REALLY loved that photo – it’s such a pretty castle AND honestly I was SURE nobody would guess it but that just goes to show – NEVER SAY NEVER!!!!! Thank you again for sending it in – keep them coming too if you find some others – we love getting photos for our “supply”. Don’t forget to take your badge as GUEST TEASER too!
