Bacon Baby
Yep – the Gazette’s front page story this week is of course that I have an “heir to the bacon throne” now – Baby Teddy. He’s a real ball of fire (when he’s awake that is)……….and one day when I truly retire to my cloud, HE will take over the Kingdom of Baconia and running the operation at the bacon greenhouse. But for now – you’ve got ME! The King!
This week I was so busy trying to keep an eye on Teddy and trying to show him where he could hang out and not let Mom find him and where to stash stuff he steals off desks and countertops that I didn’t have TIME to find any new silly posters or memes or photos for you. Sorry about that…………..but I could do some “re-runs” for you!

I did manage to get a couple of shots of Baby Bro sound asleep in Dad’s office chair………….this kid sleeps EVERYWHERE………..this morning Dad found him asleep IN the shower on the floor in Mom and Dad’s master bathroom. What’s with that? I guess he thought it was a spa????? Oh well. He’s learning.

Although Teddy and you don’t look all THAT much alike (other than you are both ginger tabbies), Teddy totally has the same vibe as you do, Sammy. Those photos of him sleeping made me think of you.

I agree Summer…..we really aren’t the same shade of ginger, don’t have the same stripes, have different faces, etc. but we do sleep in the same positions AND we both adore “the Mom and Dad” !!

Madi you are one special lady – and I thank you and Raz and Dory for arranging this wonderful Welcome for my baby ‘Bro. He’s pretty excited….but then kittens are always excited! He likes the shower floor because (I assume) it’s nice and cool……I was never a shower man but then Teddy is his OWN man!

We feel the same way about all the bacon “funnies” – we don’t get tired of seeing them either…not just because it’s all about bacon but because they are ADORABLE! Teddy does like bacon so I think the little talk I had with him when he was still in the shelter about what’s good and what’s bad must have sunk in!

Teddy is REALLY making this house his. I left him all my special stuff – red wagon full of toys, my snow sled, my various beds – and his most favorite toy was MY most favorite toy when I was his age. I’m kind of amazed it’s still in one piece – a white furry mouse – but he found it and now carries it EVERYWHERE just like I did. A “chip off the old block” I think!

Teddy is a fascinating young guy. Imagine sleeping in the shower. I used to fall asleep in the kit lit…Teddy has a more hygienic idea.

HA! I’ve heard about several cats who enjoy a nice stretch out in the litterbox……I must say that was never ME but then maybe I should have tried that when I had the chance? Ted loves the shower – he waits for Mom to finish taking a shower then goes in and licks the water off the walls……then later on when it’s nice and dry he will go lie on the cool tiles. He’s a little weird but then again he’s a KITTEN! HAHAHA

YAY you got some bacon!!!! We had bacon too – and Teddy got a bit and liked it so he’s really becoming a little baconator like ME! Teddy will probably lose his fascination with the shower – there’s so much to see and learn in this house and who knows what’s next…..!
