Greetings and Salutations Good Peeps of Baconia!
‘Tis I…….your King……
Welcome to Caturday – the day that we celebrate the BIG B here in Baconland. We are happy to have our official Baconian Greenhouse underway – thanks to the wonderful and magical Bacon Seeds that The Cat On My Head kitties sent to me recently………they have been planted and are nestled all snug in their little beds with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads (oh wait…that’s Christmas stuff…..maybe the visions are of BLTs – not sugar plums!).
Baby bacon plants growing nicely…………..I’m not entirely sure WHAT they will look like as they grow, but our greenhouse crew is taking good care of the little seedlings.

We have no reason to think our first crop won’t be anything short of spectacular………………..so stay tuned. We will of course have a harvesting party when the time comes.
Until then, let’s have breakfast shall we???

Well, I got my bacon seeds from THE CAT ON MY HEAD….otherwise I’d have to rely on my Mom remembering to buy bacon in the store and that NEVER works!

oh boy a bacon green house! the mama always wants one and I will join the bugging choir now…. a green house is not only for salad… eggs-cept bacon salad :o)

True- you can grow all kindsa good stuff in a greenhouse….except stuffies…..can’t grow those Easy so you’d better start being nice to yours and not rip their heads/tails/ears off!

I have a feeling there will be bacon for breakfast here, too, S. But not for me. Mom is going to a restaurant with her friends. I’ll give her a good thorough sniff when she gets home, but that’s about all the bacon I’ll get. Maybe after Harvest Time, you can Fedex me some of your crop.

Buying bacon already “made” is my backup plan but the crop is doing well so I think my bacon plants won’t let me down!!

Wow, Sammy, those were fast sprouting bacon seeds. Our peeps actually had some Caturday bacon. Next year, we should add some of those to the Cat Scout greenhouse as well.
