Today’s Fill-Ins are complted by Mom in RED………..I did last week’s so it’s HER turn!
1. I wish fashion designers would bring back baggy, loose fitting clothes (my body is baggy and loose fitting so I think clothes should be too…..!!!!).
2. An act of kindness that I do often is donate to charities .
3. I still have my teddy bear (now 69 years old!) from my childhood
I declare it TIME TO HAVE BACON all over the Kingdom!

Sweet fill-ins! Mom had her childhood RaggedyAnn until a few years ago. One day, she opened a drawer, looked at it, and chucked it into the garbage. #notsentimental

My Mom says she never had a Raggedy Ann but always wanted one…..sniff……..I guess there comes a time when we let things go but Mom’s still got that teddy and even though it’s falling apart it still STARES at me when Mom opens the closet door!

Skinny jeans and “jeggings” are NOT my thing. I don’t own a pair and I have no desire to stuff myself in a pair like a sausage! I feel your pain.

I just threw dirt on the fresh cleaned floor, bet you could hear the dragon who huffed and puffed at me :o) Bravo to your mom for fab fill-in’s, one wish came true the skinny jeans is dead this fall … said popsugar :o)

UHOH…..well, Mom HATES baggy jeans and usually squishes and squeezes herself into the skinny ones (thank heavens for stretch)……THEN she puts a tunic/baggy top over the whole mess and voila – she looks like a mushroom! Hugs, Sammy

Old teddies are the bestest – – – Mom says hers isn’t so “soft” anymore though….kind of stiff fur and not exactly black/white (it’s supposed to be a panda)- more GRAY and black…..HAHAHA…..but they have a lot of memories attached. Tell your teddy that Medicare is great…..since Medicare and Mom and Dad’s secondary, they haven’t had a bill from ANYONE (other than copays). It actually WORKS!

Oh yes, very happy to have Medicare and Tricare for Life as our secondary. It’s just… geez I feel, er Toothpaste Teddy feels old with that red, white, and blue card!

I thought I’d let Mom do the fill-ins today……..as it turns out, she had better answers than I ever would! HAHAHA I still get freaked out by her ancient teddy bear – – – somewhere along the line the original eyes fell off and her Mom had sewn buttons on – RED ONES – so her poor bear looks either (a)sick or (b)hung-over or (c)on drugs!!!!

HA! I think we’d have a whole lot of “baggy clothes” petitioners join us! Fortunately tunics ARE in and stretchy jeans too….otherwise I’d wear a TENT! My bear is a panda too but it never played a song…..it lost its’ eyes somewhere along the way though and my Mom sewed RED BUTTONS on for eyes. He now looks hung-over OR like he’s on drugs!!!!! Sometimes when we are out and about I find myself shaking my head at the ‘fashions’ that a roaming around the streets. It appears very very very very very short shorts are back and it appears exposing one’s butt(ocks) is popular too.

HAHAHA…..your Mom is right – whatever happened to keeping buns in the pants instead of hanging out??? Do we need to see “ALL THAT”??? I think not!!!!!! Anyway, one of these days someone will realize that the Boomers are HERE in full force and need to be fashionable but appropriate and they will design clothes for US………being young and cute is one thing but we oldies need some CUTE too! One of the stores my Mom goes to has a “generation suitable” department but Mom thinks most of the stuff is too “old lady” for her……I think she’s stuck in some kind of “time warp” or something – anyway, one of these days (especially now that Boomers are so HUGE in numbers) someone will decide it’s time to design for “ladies of a certain age” !!!!!!

There’s something about a teddy that makes it impossible to toss it away EVER……….Even though mine has evil red eyes (thanks to my Mom) it’s still full of memories…………and you just don’t throw away memories right?
