Time for Friendly Fill-Ins and Cleaning House
Hello! While the Broomhildas are here busily cleaning my house from a whole week of fur, dust, and more fur (!), I thought I’d take a few minutes to do the Friendly Friday Fill-Ins which are hosted by my friends Miss Ellen of 15andmeowing and Miss Annie of McGuffy’s Reader. This is a fun blog hop – if you don’t know about it, it’s easy peasy – they give us four sentences to fill in with our own answers then we hop around to see what everyone else had to say – it’s always fun to see.
Here are this week’s questions, and this week I myself decided to answer since I let Mom answer LAST week! My “fill-ins” are in BLUE!
Friendly Fill-Ins Week 13
1. I am most proud of reaching the ripe old age of “almost” 17 – not bad for a feral kitten trapped in the wild!
2. I am embarrassed to admit sometimes I miss the litterbox even though Mom got a high-sided one for me in my old age (oops).
3. My super-power might be sensing when company is coming – somehow I just know and I’ll head for the basement stairs.

TWO Spoiled Cats 
After WP being super late yesterday, it looks like they have made up for it today! I am proud of you too for heading towards 17. I am 4 months behind you and I hope we can both do it, then we have 18 to aim for.
I have only missed the litter box once. That was when I forgot I was indoors and stood up in it to pee like I do when I am on my walks.

no worries that’s a typical boy-problem to miss the litterbox… my daddy said older shotguns sometimes strew a little but are still as good as gold :o)

HA! Your Dad is right – it’s always “HIT OR MISS” when it comes to that kind of thing – if your aim is slightly off – you have a WHOOPSIE!

Good Morning, Sammy! Missing the litter box happens, it just does sometimes. Very proud of you too for your 17 years and looking forward to your next 17! Thank you for joining in the fill-ins, I always enjoy your answers. Phoebe sometimes gets too close to the edge and misses too, I keep a puppy pad under the box for that reason. I pray you have many more years past 17. Please send the Broomhildas my way, I probably wouldn’t have so many allergy symptoms if they cleaned.

The Broomhildas would clean your house from top to bottom and bottom to top I think – they’re amazing………I’m glad to hear Phoebe has accidents too – I guess we all forget to squat or stand too close to the edge or just plain FORGET……at least we know where the box IS !!!!

Sweet Sammy for sure no worries about a slight miss fire here and there. Mom told me Milky-way did that too. She put a shower curtain under his box and then taped the rest of it up the wall. It helped with clean up!

HAHAHA on “misfire” !!!! When I have that problem it’s because I haven’t turned around when I get in the box – one end of my high-sided pottybox is LOW and sometimes I just walk in and park there instead of doing an about face. That’s when I have my “uhohs”………so Mom has put a large plastic trash bag UNDER that end of my box – then when I misfire she just takes the plastic up and puts a new bag under and VOILA – good as new!!!!!!!!

I look forward to your next 17 years, Sammy. We humans miss the litter box sometimes, too. It happens, no worries. That’s what mops of pooper scoopers are for. 🙂

You’re right! We all have accidents from time to time……..Mom doesn’t mind……..The important thing is that I remember WHERE the litterbox is in the first place right? LOL

HAHAHAHA……our vacuum is noisy but it DOES get the job done. Mom won’t let my Dad tweak ANYTHING around here except for the lawn tractor – that’s “tweakable” because it’s MOM who does the mowing and she wants her “machine” in TOP ORDER!!

I guess while I do wish I had 17 more years, I probably would be pretty “creaky” if I was that old…….I think I’ll just concentrate on one day at a time……..!!!

I have no idea what 17 times two is either – but I can sum it up in a couple of words – DANG OLD! I’ve not heard of zebra oto but it sounds like something I should try soon – should I fry it or eat it like sushi???

Siddhartha I’m so sad for you and hoping that your Pappaw comes back to his home soon……we often go walkabout but when we’re older it’s more dangerous because we forget how to get back home sometimes……I hope he will find his way soon so you won’t have to worry.

Oh no! I’m so sorry Siddhartha…..your Pappaw must have either found his way to somewhere he likes better (!) or he’s decided to take to the road and be a wanderer. You and your Ladymum must STAY POSITIVE though……some of us go on long walkabouts and eventually realize there’s no place like HOME!

Sweet Sammy that is indeed a wonderful birthday to be celebrating, being loved has given you a long and good life and I hope you get to enjoy many more years! I really do think many of your kind are telepathic. I once had two furkids that would go and wait by the door when I was soon to be arriving home, even when I had been away for a few days. My husband used to tell me they did this!

I am hoping to reach 17 and go “well beyond” ! January 1st will be my 17th birthday and I’ll have a party for sure……. Indeed a lot of us are telepathic – Mom tells me she had a cat many many years ago who she could communicate with from across the room – they’d stare at each other and “send messages” and Mom says she could understand her cat Ricky’s messages and he could understand hers. Hmm….makes you wonder right?
