I’m on my way Mom!

You get EXTRA bacon today Sammy………..

I do???? Why is that Mom?

Because you had your four month thyroid check-up day before yesterday and your T4 is FINALLY within range! We’ve been working on that for a year now and your level is FINALLY down! YAY!!! I’m so proud of you Sammy because you have been so much more cooperative about taking your pill twice a day!

Oh gosh Mom….you’re embarrassing me!

Now now………………I’ve REALLY embarrassed you before – this isn’t embarrassing you should be proud! THIS is embarrassing:

Uh….yeah…..that WAS embarrassing Mom!

OK – I’ll just enjoy my extra bacon today……………….thanks Mom…………I promise to continue cooperating at pill time……………………I promise!

I do love you Mom for taking care of me!

Mom stuck me in that elephant suit a long time ago and I thought she’d deleted the photo – – – guess she was hiding it!

We are not sure why Buddys thyroid self adjusted but are really happy it did. He gets a bit of steroid every 3-4 days and that keeps him feeling fit.
Sammy we are all so happy you have normal numbers and know your Mom and Dad are super happy too. Keep up the good work dear friend

  Mr. Pete and Guys – THANKS for all of you chiming in about my swell T4 this time around……finally after a year it’s in range but we’re pretty sure it’s because Mom is better at getting the pills in me than before…..I was pretty cooperative about one a day but when I went to two – YUCK. Everything else was good except for one of my kidney indicators BUTTTTT my doc said he wasn’t worried because the other two were good. I’m hanging in there gang – and thanks for the encouragement. Buddy Budd I think it’s AMAZING that your thyroid self-adjusted…..we are pretty amazing animals aren’t we? We have magical powers!!!!!!!!
