1. I wish I could afford to hire someone to do all the stuff around the house that my Mom does so she could spend more time with ME ME ME!.
2. Zucchini apparently scares some kitties when they see one but not me – I’m a big brave ginger cat!
3. One Summertime memory I recall is my first summer living with Mom and Dad (I was 6 months old) and being allowed to go down into the cool woods and sit with Mom on the bench – I fell asleep!.
4. This Summer, it’s been super hot outside and I’ve decided being INSIDE the house isn’t so bad!!.

In other news – the Broomhildas showed up right on time this morning for the weekly housecleaning duty……………………..man they are like a TORNADO! They get it done so quickly Mom and Dad and I have trouble keeping up with them as they whip right through the house and get everything ship shape for another week!
The Broomhildas have their OWN business now! They rate “FOUR PAWS” too so you know they’re good!
They are FASTER than I am with a broom!

I wish I could afford someone to cook ALL my meals… oh wait, I have CH and it’s free!
Zucchini… NO.
One summertime memory I recall is my Uncle teaching me to water ski. It was entertainment for the adults who had all had one too many adult drinks.
This summer has made me appreciate fall more than ever!

Know what? As much as I complain about the cold, I’m getting SICK of all this HEAT! I’m ready for fires in the fireplace, sweaters, hot toddies, warm kitties, and snuggly nights. DANG!

Thank you for participating, those are great answers. I think that would be great if your Mom could spend every minute with you 🙂 I love your summer memory. And I agree this summer is just too hot!
I have seen the videos of cats fearing cucumbers so I guess zucchini is similar. I won’t do that to my kitties, that would be mean.
I wonder how far those Broomhilda’s will travel? They need to start a a chain everywhere.

YES – we’ve seen both cucumber AND zucchini videos with frightened kitties – what’s with that? Humans think the craziest things are funny!! The Broomhildas will branch out I’m sure – they really are GOOD at what they do!

Great answers Sammy!! Ahhhhhhhh what wonderful memories humans and furries have.
Guess what no cleaning here today…we are having carpet installed in two bedrooms downstairs…furniture is E V E R Y W H E R E!! Upstairs in Dad’s train room they are going to install LBT..it is a vinyl that looks like hardwood.This weekend mom and dad will be moving stuff out of all the other rooms back into Dad’s train room in prep for more carpet next week.
Yep we are sequestered. Mom is trying to work on a poem for Thursday about all this

Hi Miss Stacy! Glad you liked my fill-ins – sure do have fun with that don’t we all? Mom finds time to do stuff “around” me – when I nap, she does chores – when I’m awake we’re pals and buddies and hang out together…..I’ve got her pretty well trained after almost 17 years! Tee Hee…………..we did go down to the bench this morning before the heat settled in – but that was it for “out” today. Too darn hot!

I find that my furkids are a great excuse to avoid doing housework. I would much rather sit and play and cuddle with them, they are irresistible! I think we all love to visit pretty places outdoors when we get the chance, and when it’s not so hot as it’s been this summer!!

Mom says the same thing………..”I’ll clean later because Sam needs me”………tee hee……..every time she gets the cleaning stuff out I head for the front door and scream to go out (and she is always with me when I’m out!) – pretty sneaky huh? But it’s almost too hot to go outside lately – and tomorrow and Sunday – well – OVER 110 they say!

Stupid Summer… I don’t get why people look forward to this weather! It’s not only getting hot every day this week, but it’s raining every morning! That just makes the humidity 5000% during the day and it’s MISERABLE!

It’s a heat index of 105 here Sammy. I think the bacons will fry itself when mom takes some out for favorite brovver.

Katie we’ll have the same kind of temps here today too – they said 112 heat index BUTTTTT I think bacon is fryable at anything over 90! I know I’m frying when I’m out there!!!!!!!!! Stay inside…….and enjoy your Saturday!

It is hot here as well Sammy. We have been nudging 90 which may not be stifling by your standards, but when our average summer temperature is 65 it feels very hot to us. Do the Broomhildas have a branch in the UK? My mum would be glad of their mad cleaning skills.

Ninety is hot for here too dear boy and then if you factor in the humidity it’s STIFLING. I’m inside today – all day – no screaming at the door for me today! I’m sure the Broomhildas must have a UK branch…..give them a buzz on their toll free number – I’m sure they’d LOVE to come out to your farm and tidy up!

It’s true – the heat isn’t all that awful but the humidity makes it tough to breathe! Mom says it was much hotter than this when she visited Arizona for vacation a few years ago but without ANY humidity, it was fine!

I know what you mean Shoko……we’d seen lots of videos with cats freaking out over cucumber – but zucchini looks the same and we’ve seen a few getting disturbed by zukes too. We are FIERCE and shouldn’t be afraid of ANYTHING right??
