What a Teaser That Was!

Seems like everyone just about knew this one – AND those of you who noticed, YES we’ve had this location before although it wasn’t this photo and it was from a different Guest!    You all are SMARTY PANTS but only ONE was First Right Guesser of course!

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves…………………..let’s show the photo again:

This beautiful photograph was sent in by our Guest Teaser this week, Shoko and Kali from The Canadian Cats and their Mom Miss Jean!    This is the HEMINGWAY HOUSE in Key West, Florida just as many of you knew it was!    Thank you for being my GUEST TEASER this week – and please accept my thanks in a form of this badge!

The photo above was one of the ones we used the last time we had Hemingway House on our Teaser – this dude has lots of extra toes (like I do) since as you all know, Hemingway had MANY polydactyl kitties and the ones who populate the grounds of his home these days are descendants of the “originals”………this guy might be wanting to write his OWN book – maybe about all the visitors who come to see him and his friends down in Key West?

Who was my FIRST COMMENTER yesterday?    We had Oliver and Calvin who logged their “hello” in at the same time as EASY my Weim friend!    In the same minute so they BOTH get this:

A whole lot of you knew this was Hemingway’s House though so EACH and every one of you gets a PINKIE for your efforts – that’s a lot of pink to spread around!!!!

Did you NOT know it was Key West?   Were you left out in the cold?   Guess wrong?  Didn’t know at all?    You get a GREENIE anyway!

  1. Concats to Oliver and Calvin… and congrats&congrats to moi :o) the house is a wonderful place and the mama is in love for the color of the window shutters… she said it would look great on my crib too… yep and we had the next battle with the authority for picking a non allowed color :o)

  4. Sammy, I hope you’ll forgive us – we had a glance at your post yesterday, but Motor Mommy is so busy with company, I don’t think she commented. Sheesh – humans are so inept!

  9. Woohoo and quite ironic that you had that photo up yesterday. Over the weekend while cleaning mom found a book on Hemingway’s home that my gpeeps gave mom…that photo was in the book

    • She will be here – she phoned me this morning as part of her therapy to apologize for being so snarky to me. But I heard her giggling the whole time she was apologizing…..I smell a rat……know what I mean?

  13. OMG, I read “I didn’t get the Teaser right on 7/5/2016 but I TIRED!”This might be true, because I’m still pondering about a verse in little Cutipie’s cheering poem. Why did she say “And some will lose
    Just don’t feel bad and
    Get the BLUES!”
    I got a greenie! No wonder, I simply was not able to focus on the teaser pic due to this enigmatic formula!

    • SOOOOOO you think maybe Cutiepie is to blame for any confusion you may have had guessing the Teaser???????????? HA! I told her what you said and she said something that sounded more like what SuzieQ would say (don’t make me repeat it here!!!!). BUTT, remember this – GREEN is beautiful and it matches your kolytyi icon with the little white flowers in it so PERFECTLY that until you change your icon to something BLUE or something PINK you might be stuck with getting a GREENIE every week! Now that’s something to think about!

  16. Florida it is then! What cute kitty cat’s they have down there. I love kitty toes and the more the merrier. I thought it might be somewhere’s tropical as those shutters are very prevalent in warm climates. I love the windows too. xo B

  18. I never even left a guess because I saw Easy’s answer when I was scrolling down and knew he was probably right. I thought the place looked familiar, but whether or not I would have remembered on my own….who knows? LOL It’s nice to throw an easy one out there every once in a while to keep morale up! 🙂

    • CONCATULATIONS on a timely posting you guys!!!! Tee Hee………..seems that Teaser was a BIT too easy (especially for EASY!) but next week I’ll make it more challenging……….or maybe impossible………..or maybe a little of each??????

  25. Congrats to Easy Oliver and Calvin! BUTT let me tell you my idea story. I was knitting on the tram yesterday on the way home. I need a new tote bag, IT HIT ME! (listen to this!) Get a ginger Sammy colored jumper from a thrift shop, made from wool, FELT IT, make a tote, put a Sammy face on the front and a Sammy tail hanging off the back! Not all my ideas bear fruit or actually work butt I will keep you POSTED. If it works I will make one for your Mom. Butt no breath holding. It is school hold here so the boy and I are are doing a thrift shop tour TODAY! 😀

    • OH MY CAT! Wouldn’t that be an amazing project – a Sammy tote with felting on it?????? My Mom would probably faint…..I might too………but we promise not to hold our breath. We know how busy you are but I do think this is an adorable idea – if you and my Mom both had a SAMMY-TOTABLE, you’d be TWINS!!!!!

    • Double pinkies! YAY! Your luck has changed sweet Nellie……….who knows what lies ahead?! I was very excited about your Mommy’s wonderful new sewing projects so when I saw your blog today about the contest I nearly fainted.   28. Sorry I was late to class, though I would have just said the outside of the Hemingway House it reminds me of a scene from a classic Nintendo shooter I loved playing way back in the day. I’ll go sit next to Suzie in detention now….
