Father’s Day Selfie Hop Time!

Just as we do every Sunday, we’re hopping with The Cat on My Head crew today pawticipating in the selfie blog hop……………..What’s better on a sunny Father’s Day Sunday than showing off our Dads up close and purrsonal?   I’m letting my Dad take the stage today, although at the end of my post is ME ME ME in a Selfie too – you get TWO FOR ONE!

    • Hi Easy! That’s what we had this morning – BACON (and pancakes). I enjoyed it a lot and so did Dad. Mom and I got him a pretty etched glass German beer stein which he said he will “try out” this afternoon in the backyard when we have a cookout. I know that at your house – like mine – EVERY DAY is Father’s Day……..we love our Dads……….

    • It’s true – like many other holidays/special days we just should be reminded that our family is special every day………however there was extra bacon to be had in my house today for Dad’s Day so I’m celebrating THAT today as well as my Dad! Tee Hee

    • Hi Miss Pix! Everything good for you and CH? Hope so………cheeseburgers are still on tap for tonight – I think it’s going to be a gorgeous day – we’re starting out in the mid-60s but sunny skies so we’re ready! Mom and I got Dad a beautiful etched German beer stein for Dad’s Day and he loves it so we SCORED. Hope you and CH have something fun planned for today – – – !

    • Thanks! It was a mighty fine Father’s Day yesterday – Dad was spoiled and since I already AM spoiled, it was two spoiled guys hanging out and a Mom who catered to us – what a great deal!

    • Oh well……I still have a favorite photo of you and your Dad that I’ve kept – the one of him holding you in the field………it’s a sweet photo and he’s smiling and I think you are too!!!! I hope your Dad had a great Dad’s Day too Flynn……we do love our Dads don’t we!!

    • I really am lucky to have my Dad….he never had a cat before me – only dogs….so when he and Mom adopted me he learned all about how special kitties can be – and I learned how important a Daddy is!

    • I think he did Seville…..I behave myself (!) AND Mom and I gave Dad a wonderful present which he loved. So I’m pretty sure he had fun – I know I did! I hope you all had a good Dad’s Day too!

    • It was “his” day so I just had to honor him since he’s my Pop…….when Mom’s away he’s my “go to guy” for everything and he does a good job of it – however in my heart I’m a REAL “Momma’s Boy” !!
