Thanks to everyone. I love my bacon Saturday as you all know and I love my collection of bacon stuff as it grows and grows. Last night I had a dream as I lay on my bacon cheeseburger bed (I took a night off from my royal Kingly bed) because I have the BEST dreams about bacon when I’m on that bed snoozing away. I dreamed I was in Baconland again………………….endless vistas of bacon. Imagine how GOOD it smells there!
I was unhappy when my alarm went off except the minute I woke up I smelled……….BACON!
Yep – I got some……….and seconds too!
Thanks everybody for enjoying Bacon Saturday as much as I do!
Bacon is my favorite treat
Crunchy, salty and fun to eat
I never have to beg or make a fuss
Saturdays are just for us
We start out good with lots of bacon
Then other things for Dad she’s makin’
Eggs, pancakes, waffles for HIM
But I concentrate on my BACON
Not on them!

Well, there’s no bacon for me here in Ontario, California, where I’m going to be doing a cat show… but at least my human brought some freeze dried chicken treats!

Easy, chicken and rice is a lot better for you than bacon BUTTTTTTTT not nearly as FUN to eat! HAHA Your CHAOS Pawty is FABULOUS – I had a blast….Those of us who didn’t go to the B.A.R. had a FAB party to go to that I just bet is more fun than the B.A.R. (thanks to you and your Mom!). You’re a real party animal my friend.

Thanks Fozziemum…………Dad is down in the kitchen now doing the bacon while Mom catches up on the computer – I think Mom said she was going to make mushroom omelettes for breakfast so I think I’ll just stick with the BACON part of things!

Oh yep..i agree..i love slowed cooked mushrooms with lots of butter and fresh thyme and lemon zest..bit of garlic..salt and pepper and a huge toasted piece of sourdough to plop it on…dang..i am hungry again..:)

That is a terrific new badge, Sammy. And the poem is meowvolous too! Our humans also had bacon today. Mom gave Lisbeth a little piece, and she licked it some but didn’t eat it. You kitties are better off not eating bacon actually – I know it’s not good for me (or our humans) but it’s just so danged tasty I can’t resist (nor can they!). It’s going to be hot here too – tomorrow Mom and Dad are joining the neighbors next door for crabs and eating crabs on a HOT day is supposed to be the ONLY way to eat them. HA!
