What a busy day yesterday was – well for my parents anyway. I was left behind and I bet you can guess what I was up to while they were gone?
Yep – a little bit of this and that and the other……………..in other words – SNORING.
While I was snoring, Mom and Dad were at a doctor’s appointment for Mom, then they went computer shopping for a laptop – my Mom now has a laptop (hallelujah) and she’s very happy about it but in “learning mode” which means it will be FOREVER before she can use the thing. But we have one now so never again will we be WITHOUT computers so I won’t disappear for two or three days leaving you wondering if I’m alive!
We are patiently waiting for Spring and yesterday was a bit of a break in the colder Spring type weather because we got up to 74 – HOWEVER today rain moves in and back down we go. It will be nice when we STAY Spring! Know what I mean?
Can we get a break Mother Nature???????
Whatever you do – enjoy your Thursday. I’ll be snoopervising Mom’s learning of the laptop. I guess we’ll need to have wine available for when she gets frustrated and who can be upset for long when they have an adorable ginger cat hugging their legs and saying MEOW every few minutes right? Right!

Hi Fozziemum! My Mom got the all clear for another year from her oncologist yesterday AND today I should hear about my blood work. Meanwhile, Mom is getting familiar with her new best friend – the laptop. Windows 10 is MILES different from 8 but she’s a trooper – she won’t let it get her down and I’m here to keep her UP! HAHAHAHA

So funny when you say that “in my waters” thing – Mom and Dad watch Aussie mystery series “Mr. and Mrs. Murder” and she’s always talking about “her waters” !!! HAHAHA We’re getting adjusted to Windows 10 although Mom REALLY REALLY loves 8. Oh well…..gotta move with the times right?

My Mom hates new Windows so far but whatcha gonna do? She mostly works on the PC which she has Windows 8 on and probably will KEEP 8 there….the laptop can have 10!

Mom loves the laptop already – not crazy about Windows 10 but she will conquer it (if she can handle my Dad she can handle Windows 10)……..HAHAHA……..Mom is in good shape (well – sorta – she’s still old as dirt) and I should hear today or tomorrow about my thyroid thing. Guess what – it’s 73 and sunny here in spite of what they SAID it would be – I bet tomorrow we get the stuff you have!!!!

Yes, Sammy, you are danged cute. Laptop is no different than a big desktop…just portable. It’s all our mom uses now. We’d expect your snoozing again today after that lesson at CSU yesterday. Hi KB Kids! Mom’s new bestie is the laptop although I’m a close second. HAHAHA Our heads were spinning after yesterday’s class at Scouts – I’m thinking I’m too danged old for all this pressure……I just wanna have fun! I do enjoy learning but MAMA MIA! An adorable cat and a glass of wine can get a person through anything. 🙂 A new laptop is so exciting! I’d be lost without mine…it’s so convenient to be able to work in different rooms as the mood strikes.
We took a break from unpacking the other day and went shopping for the morning. I’m pretty sure the dogs and Sam were happy to see us go so they could also have a chance to catch up on their rest!

Hi Flynn – how is your Mom doing? I’m sure your nursing is helping her a whole lot. Mom was happy about her checkup and not so happy about mine – I guess it’s two pills a day for me now instead of one and a half (boo hoo). I’ll try to cooperate……..I really will. My mum spoke to my vet the other day when I was losing weight so quickly and my pred has been increased by another half tablet. That is still only 2.5mg a day so still a very low dose, but it seems to be helping.

Mom is slowly but surely adjusting to using the laptop but this morning we’re on “old faithful” the PC. Mom can type a bazillion times faster on this keyboard. We didn’t get rain yesterday BUT we will have rain today – you have snow? OH NO!!!!!! YUCK!!!!!!!
