Sammy’s Gone Nuts!
Did you think I went blog crazy yesterday with TWO blogs? Well, that was because I didn’t realize it was BLOG FOR PEACE day yesterday so I quick did a special post for that since I LOVE to honor that day!
Today only one blog……….and a rather boring one at that. Why? Well, how about because there’s not much going on around my house that’s worth talking about? Fall continues to fall…..leaves are flying out of the trees at a record pace so Mom and Dad will be busy in the yard this weekend I’m sure………….we’re like everyone else who’s got Fall going on – just trying to keep up with stuff. But one thing is for SURE…………..I’m excited about November being here because I DO love turkey day! This year Mom and Dad are going to W. Virginia for Thanksgiving but they WILL be bringing home a doggy (oops…I mean kitty) bag with some turkey for ME ME ME. YAY!
What the heck is this?
Mom has been working hard packing up the packages for the two winners in my Sam-O-Ween Best Costume Contest…………we are hoping that Peanut and Ernie both like what we’ve got for them – Mom will get those in the mail by tomorrow or Saturday. We sure had a GREAT contest this year. YOU GUYS ROCKED your costumes and those of you who didn’t enter still came back and voted and we had a TON of votes cast.

See? I told you this would be a boring blog post………….I just don’t have any big news or even any old news……….we’re just floating along here at my house. The one thing that puzzles me though is considering how BORING things are around here, how come Mom is STUCK at the computer all the time instead of downstairs in the family room in her recliner so I can pop up and get in her lap??? Huh??? It’s my favorite spot and she knows it.

Sammy, I would like to write a boring post once… hahahahaha and talking about turkey is never boring… and we can talk about the size of the kitty bag your pawrents promised you… I suggest a bag as big like a truck tarpaulin :o)

Easy – I love the way you think……..I think a truck tarpaulin-sized kitty bag would be PURRRRFECT! Turkey is yummy……I don’t like chicken for some reason but DO like turkey…..go figure! Easy, you couldn’t write a boring post because your life there (thanks to your humans!) is NEVER EVER BORING!

Sammy, you are never boring. I think Mom needs a laptop she can set on the side of her to work on while you sit on her lap. That is what I do for Joanie. We are all looking forward to turkey day and all the leftovers too. XO

Things are so boring here too and so our mom didn’t even post anything for us today. She usually only takes off on Mondays. We are going to have two days of warm weather, so that is something! It’s 80 here today – very weird – we have to think “the shoe will drop” soon though…….I think rain is coming Saturday and I’m SURE the temps will be falling……I’ll enjoy this while I can though!

Fall is falling everywhere I guess Siddhartha! Of course the workmen admired you when they saw you – you’re a most handsome cat with a sleek black shiny coat…..!!! I love my turkey baby food and that’s why Mom believes I’ll be happy to get some “real”turkey leftovers!

You’re never boring to us, S. We like seeing what’s up in your neck of the woods. Plus turkey leftovers are always exciting news. Mom will eat at a fancy restaurant for Thanksgiving, and she will NOT bring home leftovers. I’m sure I’ll have some of my freeze dried chicken treats, though….

Well I know that turkeys are BURDS and BURDS are hideous creatures……BUT turkey really does taste good so I just close my eyes and pretend it’s not BURD and eat the heck out of it!!!!!!

I liked the post. That Persian cat looking at the turkey looked so funny….mom is still chuckling about it. She needed that laugh. Ernie in his toque with the Halloween face was the funniest to me Sammy. Can’t help but love that guy!

Yes I agree…….I think kitties who can sleep in their Moms laps while their Moms are on the computer are lucky but no way will I do that – Mom’s chair isn’t comfy enough for ME to be comfy!
