Oh this weather just HAS TO GO ON…………we’ve decided at my house that this would be PERFECT stuff to have year-round…….there must be somewhere on the planet where that’s the case……today was sunny ALL DAY and the high temperature was 79. Just right. Sigh. Not many more pretty leaves came tumbling down today though because no wind…..what we need (but I’m not asking for it trust me on that!) is a few more overnight freezes then WHAMMO – leaves will FLY out of the trees!

Today will be another one of those days only slightly cooler………………….no complaints – I’ll take it!
Yesterday my parents deserted me for a while – went rug shopping. I’ll have some new rugs to “break in” in a couple of weeks I guess. Just about when I get them to smell right, have just enough cat hair on them, just the right about of “Sammy” on them, they go and get NEW rugs. HA! That won’t stop me…..I’ll have them SAMMIFIED in no time!
Today I have a BIG EVENT at Cat Scouts……we’re going to hop on the Cat Scouts jet and pop up to Mackinac Island in Michigan and stay at the Grand Hotel for one night. We’re having a “Somewhere In Time” trip – back in time complete with Jane Seymour who made that movie (some of you may recall) which was a big hit. Anyway, we’ll be in costume for the fancy dinner that night…………..period stuff from the 1900s…………what do you think?

I hear ya… it needs a lot of work to make it to OUR pawsonal rugs… and always when a rug is well decorated, they replace it with a new one… I feel like that greek guy with the big stone sometimes :o(

I’m going to be busy getting those new rugs into shape aren’t I Easy?! I hope they have the good sense to realize that whatever I “add” to it, makes ME feel more comfortable about the rug. Just a bit of SAMMY goes a long way!

Mom and Dad have had a couple of rugs in the kitchen before but nothing as NICE as this…and now with the hardwood floors Mom wanted something “nice” (whatever THAT means!).

Rugs – snorts. Mom/dad will tell you cousin. I can’t be trusted with rugs. Any kind whatsoever. We just don’t get along. They trip me and then I trip them if you know what I mean – snorts. We love sunrises and sunsets in the fall.

Having a fun time on the trip Shoko? I was until I couldn’t post (!!!!) but this morning all is well so I’ll be there (unless something happens AGAIN!). We are having a “real” Fall here this year….some years we go from green leaves right to brown with no color – this year it’s PRETTY!

Our Mom wants new rugs, but she can’t find anything she likes and can afford. Lucky for us! The humans were so happy with yesterday’s weather as they got to go biking. It was absolutely gorgeous. Mom and Dad love the rug/carpet/drape place they go to in Amissville. Early’s Carpets has been in business for a long time and it’s family run – very friendly peeps and excellent customer service. The carpets were ON SALE too! We have rain this morning…..AND it’s 57 and DAMP. I’m glad your Mom and Dad got to go biking yesterday though!
