Howdy peeps………………………Mom and I were just looking over our September calendar and boy oh boy is it FULL! My Mom and Dad have a birthday party to go to for our neighbor’s son on the 7th which is also Labor Day which translates to COOKOUT! Then on the 9th is my Mom and Dad’s anniversary and it’s also MO Cats Day in the Cat Blogosphere, then on the 12th is the Cat Scouts annual CARNIVAL which actually will be TWO days this year (whew), The Tabby Cat Club will have a “Napping with your Human Day” on the 15th, my Mom goes to the dentist on the 16th, the Tabby Cat Club, Cat Scouts, and ME on my blog will celebrate “Talk Like A Pirate Day” on the 19th AND I have a Cat Scouts Patrol cookout that day too. The following week my Mom is going to visit her sister overnight on the 25th leaving me with my Dad (eeeeeek) and then on the 29th and 30th my parents are deserting me YET AGAIN for a boating adventure.
Maybe we’re TOO busy in September??????
Are you out of breath just reading that last endless paragraph? Me too……….see what I mean???? There are other “regular” events on the September Calendar of course like Patriot Day which is the 11th and National Grandparents Day on the 13th, Rosh Hoshanah starts sundown on the 13th, Yom Kippur starts sundown on the 22nd – the same day Autumn begins.
After this month things should slow down…….they better…..we’re sinking fast!
I think I need a social secretary – oh wait – I already have one – MOM!!! Maybe SHE needs a social secretary??????? Or even someone just to answer the phones???!!!!

I bet your Dad will be happy to be staple-free! I bet you miss that doo-rag – it WILL come in handy for Talk Like A Pirate Day for sure!!!! We saw your blog post today but weren’t sure you got our card as it wasn’t there (not that you have to post all your cards of course!). My Mom told Dad about your duck dinner and now he wants DUCK for dinner soon. Mom has some thin-sliced duck breasts in the freezer – guess she’d better thaw them out (and maybe I can get a taste!!!!). We loved your parents’ SUPERPEEPS outfits – that a hoot!!
