Ah yes…….my ideal date……a pound of bacon – cooked nice and crispy and cooled off and broken up in a Sammy-sized bowl. Yep – heavenly. BUTTT since that isn’t gonna happen, maybe I’ll just settle for my usual Saturday supply? Yeah…….good plan.
I plan to enjoy every slurp of my bacon breakfast then who knows what I’ll get into?
I heard Mom say that they would have a cookout tonight – that COULD mean cheeseburgers – in fact it could mean BACON cheeseburgers.
So maybe this will be a “DAY OF BACON”……….
I’ll just PRETEND like I’m surprised when they break out the bacon for the burgers…….
No – I’ll try not to give away my excitement…..honest!
I’ll act as normal as an abnormal cat can…………….

IT WAS AMAZING……….and Mom had bought some “prime rib ground beef” which was something she’s not brought before to make the burgers with……it was REALLY GOOD……usually she gets angus ground beef but this was different. I say ANY beef is fine as long as there’s bacon around it!

Hope you’re having/had your Bacon Burgers under a beautiful summer sky tonight. I had a great day visiting with a friend who drove in from a couple hours to see us here at the Montana State Fair. Great to catch up and now it’s dinner time here for us!
Whats for dessert? Chocolate dipped bacon? Saw that a fair last year. Yum!

Oh Miss Dee……chocolate dipped bacon? My Mom said she would LOVE LOVE LOVE that….salty and sweet all rolled into one delish package?!?!?! I bet you’re having fun at the Fair. We wish we were there……our town fair was a couple of weeks ago and it’s pretty small but fun. We have had beautiful weather here the last week or so…..got to see the perseid meteor shower………and having lots of cookouts to enjoy the evenings. Last night’s bacon cheeseburger-o-rama was GRAND!
