YOWZA! It’s that time again!

So how did you do yesterday? A lot of peeps climbed on a CERTAIN DOG’S bandwagon when he guessed and it seems a lot of you will be getting a RIGHT GUESSER badge today!! But first things first………………a BIG THANK YOU to my Guest Teaser, Madi and her Mom Cecelia of Down Home In NC for the fabulous photo – this was a “double header” couple of weeks for them since they gave me the photo we used LAST week of Grandfather Mountain! This is for you Madi:

Here’s the photo and it was a BEAUTIFUL photo taken in 1999 by Madi’s Mom in KARLOVY VARY, in the CZECH REPUBLIC! (special thanks to Kolytyi for the DETAILS DETAILS)

Now, WHO was my First Commenter? Well, it was a TIE………..that’s right – a TIE……….both Easy and Oliver & Calvin’s comments were recorded at the same time by WordPress so they BOTH get one of these!

Then you all have guessed I’m sure that the FIRST RIGHT GUESSER was the King of Teasers – Easy! I also received this old photo from Easy showing his Mom and his Grandparents IN the town of Karlovy Vary so yes indeed they guessed the Teaser – who knew they’d BEEN there?!?!?! NOT ME!!!!!! Love the photo though……………

Concats to Easy! Mum was so sure she recognised the place that we just checked on Wiki, and Carlsbad is another name for the same place, so we are a right guesser too. She remembers that her penfriend’s mum had German parents so maybe that is why they used the other name. Maybe they used it more back in the 60s. She wrote several times to her penfriend after the invasion but the letters were never acknowledged or returned, so maybe the Russians had intercepted all overseas mail. We will never know now. 😦
