Oh What A Day!

Actually “oh what TWO days” (so far)……….because today is a carbon copy of yesterday and yesterday was PURRRFECT. No complaints from me. Not too hot or humid – it was downright fabulous. I celebrated by spending most of the day asking Mom about every ten minutes to take me out on the front porch. Yes I did………I loved stretching in the sun…….sitting in the sun……cruising the lawn…..peeing in the bushes (oops – too much info??), and just enjoying the fresh air. Mom did all of that (except for the peeing part of course) with me and then we further celebrated by watching Dad use the string trimmer all over the yard neatening things up.

I am sure I’ll be doing a “repeat performance” today………………and I can hardly wait……………in fact, maybe I’d better go wake Mom and Dad up – the sooner we start enjoying another PURRRFECT day together the better!!!

I'll just stay inside and play all day......

It is cooler here this week and mes has been staying in the bedroom under the covers or in my heated bed. Mommy says mes the only one who likes the 40c/104f degree weather!

Now that I’m an old guy, if Mom or Dad is outside with me, I don’t have to wear the harness. My Mom and Dad are both nice humans – I was lucky that they adopted me almost 16 years ago – I’ve had a wonderful life!

      Well little man, exploring and finding new things and making new friends is all part of being a young cat…..you’re still checking out your “boundaries and limits” and your Ladymum knows that but you mustn’t worry her by going on adventures when she doesn’t know where you are. Besides, it can be a scary and dangerous world out there. Much better if you’re WITH her and in your outside cat condo or at least WITH her in sight.
