Even though we got more snow, I’m still perky this morning because yes indeedy do, it’s SATURDAY! Even though I got bacon yesterday today is the bacon bonanza……I can have as much as I want…….in exchange for taking my pill that is. I’ve mostly been good about that by the way – Mom switched to cherry yogurt because I was tired of strawberry but I also am suspicious of ALL yogurt since I can taste the powder Mom grinds that pill into no matter HOW she hides it!
But back to bacon………because after all, that’s what my Saturday blog is always about yes??? YES!
I don’t have to resort to this behavior to get my bacon fix either!
Gosh, I didn’t know these were off limits!

Hoping that the bacon fairy sprinkles bacon dust on you today and you get to have some bacon like I do……………………we all deserve a treat and that’s MY “treat of choice”!

We are in a hotel near San Diego this weekend, and as soon as she gets up, my human is going down to the breakfast room to see if there is any **bacon** there for me!

have you ever tried Pill Pockets [http://www.greenies.com/cats.aspx] for your medicine? Our Chiquita never liked her morning and evening medication, but since we have started puttin the pills in one [or half a] Pill Pocket [the dog-type, of coourse], she is always eagerly awaiting medication time and then simply gobbles it down. Maybe you’d like the cat-type of those.

Hi Mr. Pit! Yes, Mom got pill pockets for me to try at first…..I wouldn’t have a thing to do with them but I know lots of other kitties who think they are YUMMY. My vet suggested them right away so we tried them – AND there’s even a pill paste so you can hide the pill in something yummy tasting (chicken) but NO WAY. I’m just a pain in the derriere when it comes to my pills. Thanks for the suggestion though – I guess I’m just one of those guys who likes to keep Mom on her toes….!

CH just got out of bed and I hear pots clanking in the kitchen. No bacon for us Sammy but I do believe there will be potato cakes… HAPPY! Hi Miss Pix yes I know I need to have that icky, yucky pill but sometimes I’m just not IN THE MOOD! Mom gets upset with me but I really dig my heels in and don’t cooperate sometimes. Other times I’m good as gold. Mom’s now calling me “persnickety” – I’m not sure I like that word!!!! Glad you have prettier weather than we do – we’re gray, cold, breezy and muddy. Most of what fell yesterday has melted. Monday we get something else – who knows what?! Potato cakes sounds yummy……My Mom would love them!

Oh Bacon! When wes came back from BC we brought real bacon! Smoked right where the pigs was raised and boy oh boy is it YUMMY! Mes can’t wait for Mommy to makes some!
