I promised that tomorrow’s Teaser would be one that SOMEONE would win – right? After last week when the very first Teaser of 2015 put everyone in a tailspin, I vowed to make THIS week an easy Teaser. I think I’ve done that……………..so you’ll just have to wait until tomorrow morning – at a time chosen by ME – when the Teaser will “go live” and you’ll have a chance to be First Right Guesser!
This week I’m SURE someone will win these………….the new 2015 BIG GREENIE was very popular last week (so to speak), but these two are getting lonely (and dusty) on the badge shelf so be ready tomorrow OK?
Meanwhile, our snow is being VERY stubborn…….it’s still here…….days and days of frigid temps not only mean I’m staying inside more than ever BUT that the snow is hanging on……We only have a couple of inches of the stuff but it’s refusing to vacate the premises!
Thanks to everyone who said yesterday that they didn’t really think my “thinning hair” was a big deal……well, if you ask my Dad what he thinks about HIS thinning hair, you’d think the world is coming to an end……….but I sort of lost a bit of hair when I lost a bit of weight and if that was the consequence then I’m alright with it. I do not limp as much without the weight on me….so that’s a good thing! Mom says you can see in my face that I’ve lost some weight……….just two pounds over the past year. No biggie! I’m still adorable so who cares?!?!?!

You have high cheekbones after you lost the weight. Our vet told us that 1 pound on a kitty is worth 10 pounds on a human and I believe him. So you lost the equivalent of 20 human pounds. That is a lot of weight Sammy. You could afford it really. Kali was more playful after losing some weight. The picture is of a hotel we stayed at in the Philippines Sammy.

Oh wowzers….well, I didn’t know that about humans/animals and weight but that sounds like a whole lot of weight (in human terms) that I lost. Our dear buddy Flynn lost that same amount of weight in a matter of a month or so though which was NOT GOOD for him. He’s now struggling to get some weight back on……food is SO important to us…….

Sammy, we’re not sure that there are any easy Teasers when it comes to us. 😉 And as far as the weight loss, it’s not usual for an older kitty to lose some weight. Just as long as it’s not too much and not too quickly.

OMCs my peeps attended a funeral today…I have a riddle for you?
do you know what is worse than rainy days and Mondays? Rainy Mondays and a funeral. It was raining cats, dogs, elephants. Dad was a pall bearer but he listened to mom…wore his water resistant shoes instead of dress loafers and he even wore an over coat. Moms are smart for sure.

I hope Charlie can find something that he enjoys eating so he doesn’t lose more weight – at least we knew why I lost weight with my thyroid problem, but when you don’t know it’s a little unnerving! Well, my vet said it was the thyroid thing that caused me to lose weight and slim down…….but he thinks it’s actually helped my arthritis situation because I’m not carrying all that weight around on my poor old legs. I hate to admit it but I think he’s right! I lost the weight over a whole year too – if it happens QUICKLY, I think everybody panics. Yep – we live in Virginia! Not far from the Shenandoah Valley but far enough from Washington, DC that we don’t have all the wacky traffic.

Hi there!!! I know you must be loving all that beautiful WARM sun – same for those in Australia of course – here in our neck of the woods it’s cold and icy/snowy for a while longer……this morning I had a BIG surprise when I went outside though – my snow is GONE! It rained last night and was slightly warmer so it melted everything…..it’s 35 degrees but that’s “warm” in the scheme of things!
