Come on in everybody!    The music is gonna be quiet (don’t let the DJ fool you, he’s just playing slow songs and sleepy tunes to keep the mood MELLOW!)………………and please help yourself to my delicious breakfast buffet.

Today I turned FIFTEEN so not only are we celebrating a brand new year, we’re celebrating a brand old cat.  HAHAHAHA   Just kidding.  I feel great if the truth be known and I hope to stay this way for a long time to come.

If you want to head out on the dance floor to cruise around to some nice quiet music, please do.   Those of you who simply can’t resist having a niptini (even though I think most of you have had your fill already!!!!  hic hic) there’s a bar………!

Then to make sure that those of you who simply want a soft place to curl up and recover before you head home – I’ve got THAT for you too!   Lots of spots where you can take a snooze and nobody will bother you I promise!

The youngest attendee of my breakfast buffet is my little buddy and honorary nephew, Siddhartha who was lucky enough to be adopted by Miss Sherri-Ellen who was Mom to Angel Nylablue!    Little Siddhartha is obviously all tuckered out – it’s his very first party AND please tiptoe around him while he catches some Z’s as only the young and innocent can!!

I did get some birthday cards that I’ll share with you here………….if more come rolling in today I’ll add them to the slideshow and have a “re-run” tomorrow.  I received two cards in the mail too from my friends Charles and Andy – both buddies of mine from Cat Scouts!!!    THANK YOU to everyone who sent me an email or a card or a message on Facebook.   I would not still be blogging if not for all of you…………I’d be in a retirement home for kitties!!!!

After last night at Scouts and today’s trip to Hearst Castle, celebrating more at Scouts and here, Mau says he’s going to sleep right up until the Jan. Birthday Pawty at Scouts.     • Oh KB friends……what a sweet note. I’m glad you made it to my pawty but I’m also so VERY glad that we’re friends. I’ve had more happiness crammed into my last year than anyone could ever have imagined – a lot of that has been thru Cat Scouts but a whole lot of it has been just because I have such wonderful friends in the blogosphere. YES Mau, you certainly did try to tell me I’d be CSOTY but I really truly didn’t think I would. I had nominated Nibbler and thought she’d probably get it….in the end she did but so did I and it was a shock. I’m very proud…..VERY. I’m also proud to have you and everyone else as a friend in Scouts and out…….I’m hoping that I’ll be around to enjoy all this fun for many more years but if not, I quite honestly would have had the TIME OF MY LIFE this past year and that’s a smile that would last forever.

    • Oh wow Miss Boomdee! My very first aquasized birthday card!!!!! Only you can do that and only you can make my Mommy smile that big……….yesterday we “undecorated” our tree and Mom put the aqua birdie in its’ special aqua box again for another year. Sending you tons of huggies!

    • Hi Miss Marg!!!! It was our pleasure to have a commentathon to help with Joe and any other animals who need it there with you. Oh no my dear Sammy, I am sorry I missed your birthday:( I know it is a late wish but I wish you a Super Duper Happy Birthday and I hope you had a huge celebration and party with bacon bacon bacon:) We like bacon here too…it is one of natures perfect foods:) You still look like a kitten and you are so very sweet! I know Minnie would have remembered as she loved hanging out with you when she could:) We miss her yet very much but she is hanging out with Nylablue now and they are having quite the catnip parties up in heaven! Sammy you are the most wise kitty I know and you have so much fun, I love how you share your adventures!     • Oh boy! So nice to hear from you…………No worries on the birthday – I had quite a time though with celebrations all over the place. I was exhausted after all the parties! Plenty of bacon was had by all and I served it up for my breakfast buffet on my birthday too. I know you miss Minnie but she’s with you ALWAYS AND FOREVER in your heart…..when we join our humans we have an unwritten rule that we will forever protect and love them and stay in their heart. When you’re quiet before you go to sleep at night, or you’re out looking at a sunrise, you will feel her. Thanks for the birthday wishes…..I hope you have a wonderful New Year!
