Hello!!! Well, I’m starting to get some entries in the costume contest – don’t wait until the last second – deadline October 27th you know!! WOO WOO WOO!!!
Yesterday the Cat Scouts had a “fishing rodeo”……….what’s that you may ask? Well I wasn’t sure…………at first I thought it might mean something like this:
Then I found out it’s just a fishing competition – a day of fun catching fish and I can handle THAT! We even had a contest for UGLIEST Fish, BIGGEST Fish, and FUNNIEST Fish…….I entered the UGLIEST fish because I really did catch one majorly UGLY fish………… Tomorrow I’ll do a post to show you all the winners AND a few other shots from the day.
Yep – this guy is pretty danged ugly!
Meanwhile here at home it’s CLEANING DAY…………the day the monster comes out of the closet and wreaks havoc on my daily doses of peace and quiet. Time to chase down the dust bunnies and fur balls………….for another week anyway until I can “re-decorate” everything for Mom with more dust and furs. What can I say? I want to keep her busy so she doesn’t get into any trouble!!!
The house is alive with cleaning!
This is the only cleaning I intend to do today!!!!!
Don’t forget some PERSONAL cleaning too!

I don’t know why Friday is cleaning day for so many people – maybe they think since it’s the end of the week it’s time to remove all the MESS collected during the week? Not sure…..but Mom and Dad have finished with that now so it’s NAP TIME. As for my fish – guess what – he won me “UGLIEST FISH” in the contest! HAHAHAHA

Happy Friday Sammy! Funny about the fishing contests… when we go fishing, we do the same thing. But categories usually include biggest, most, and the first. Sometimes, we do the prettiest too but I think we may need to add an ugliest fish category. Except most of them just look the same lol.

That IS an ugly fish! I hoovered yesterday and did the hardwoods. It rained all day and cleaning seemed to be the thing to do. Laundry too. I could hardly wait to get finished! Enjoy your quiet time Sammy as soon as the vakoom goes back in the closet!

YES! My Aunt Carol is a quilter and does a lot of sewing – she made those pillow for my Mom to put in our home library room……cool huh??? I think she ordered the material online……

The fishing rodeo was a lot of fun. Raz was so proud of his girl Madi catching one of the biggest fish and Allie was so proud of Mau with one of the funniest fishes. YOUR fish was the paws down ugliest!!!
