Oh baby did I ever………..REST that is after we finished up with the Cat Scouts Quest adventure. I was really pooped!
I thought what I’d do rather than tell you all about it in WORDS, is give you a fun slideshow – starting with Day One which began at 7:30PM on Friday night with a Knowledge Bowl (quiz about Scouts stuff) and ending Sunday around lunchtime with a ride back home from Camp in a MAGIC BUS!
Ready?
It was tons of fun – LOTS of work – and I slept almost all day yesterday just recovering (come to think of it my typist was a bit tuckered out too…..Thanks Mom Typist!! ) I was proud of my Troop and all four Patrols in my Troop. We all rocked! I kept telling everyone that they needed to relax and have fun – we had several “challenges” during the Quest – problems or situations the Denmaster gave us to resolve or work our way through…..and everyone did their BEST which was the important thing.
SO – that’s what I’ve been doing and of course you probably couldn’t care less about all that stuff, you want to know about your OWN Quest which is of course the Tuesday Teaser here on my blog – right? Tee Hee Well, as usual I’m not saying a word…………..not a word…………..is it a Guest Teaser? Nope……….does that mean it’s a photo my Mom or Dad took themselves? Maybe………….that’s all I’m saying – oh and just to remind you, the Teaser pops up at a random time on Tuesdays so don’t look for it until it’s ready to be delivered OK? OK! Just be ready with all your reference materials, maps, globes, search boxes on your computers – WHATEVER you need to try and win one of these awards!

Hi Shoko! Thanks again for coming on the Quest and having fun – it wasn’t easy sometimes because a lot of Scouts we THOUGHT would be there weren’t! But everyone was a good sport and carried on……I was very proud of all the Wildcats and especially all of you Patrol Leaders!

Oh we had tons of bacon – and the night before we left we had a “smores recipe challenge” – everyone posted photos of their favorite s’mores recipes and guess what – SEVERAL of them had bacon in them!!!! Imagine that – a s’more with bacon….YUM!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOZZIEMUM!!!!!! Yes I’ve been busier than a one-armed paperhangar. So has my poor Mom. We’re both pooped but there’s always SOMETHING going on. This week it’s the Tabby Cat Club Riverboat/Swamp trip on the 27th and 28th! We may have a break around here but it’s usually SHORT. I hope you’re feeling better – you just keep going like the energizer wabbit – we DO worry about you!! 😉

The Quest was fun but we were super tired afterwards too. Raz says you’re the super best Troop Leader and a pawsome Assistant Patrol Leader. Wasn’t Inky a hoot too?

It was quite an adventure but like you – I’m POOPED! How nice of you to say I’m a good Troop Leader – I try to be – you’re a fab Patrol Leader and I don’t know what I’d do without you!!!! Inky was a hoot and between him and Coney we were all in stitches most of the time (thank heavens for comic relief!).

It was our Patrol’s little Kit Scout (5 months old) whose name is Felix. He got a little bit tired walking with us grownups so we popped him in the wagon!

Cat Scouts has very few Kit Scouts but our Patrol was lucky enough to have one join us recently – isn’t he adorable? Felix the Cat……he’s our little mascot and his little legs had a tough time keeping up with the rest of us!!

The quest was a lot of fun and everyone worked so hard!! My patrol won the knowledge bowl, without my help, can you believe it?!!! Lovely memories on the slide show 🙂 I hope The Staff is with it enough tomorrow to get us to the Teaser at the right time MOL xox

We missed part of the Quest Sat night as the stupid Internet went down for hours. So frustrating. Made it though all the rest though. Lot’s of challenges. Have a great week Sammy. We are starting off with rain and thunderstorms all day here.

That looked like quite the challenge for the Rumblers and mom! You must have been exhausted Pam 😀 The slide show was lots of fun. I watched it a few times to see everything. Which lucky kitty got to ride in the wagon? I liked the campfire time too. Especially because one kitty brought their teddy to the fire, LOL. The lunch box was very cute too. I’m always amazed by these trips Sammy, so much detail and preparation. You better go have a nap on mums lap and maybe message her tired hands with your soft head 😉 xoxox

Hi Boomdee! It was tiring for my poor Mom AND for old me…..lots of pizapping going on for sure!! The little kitty in the wagon was our newest addition to the Rumblers….five month old Felix the “Kit Scout”…..he got tired on the hike so we popped him into the wagon. I think he was happy about that!! It was quite a Quest…..and next month our Denmaster is hosting a CAT SCOUTS JAMBOREE – probably similar to this Quest but I hope there aren’t any TESTS like there were with this one so I don’t feel so DUMB! HAHAHAHA
