WOW…….what a weekend…………..parties all over the place and Mother’s Day too! Well, this old guy really (and I mean REALLY) needs to rest up from all of that so that’s what I’m doing today. Taking it EASY…………….
Yesterday was great though – we had a nice Mother’s Day – Mom and Dad worked out in the yard and it was a beautiful day for it. Eighty degrees, sunny and a breeze……….purrrrfect! Dad made breakfast for Mom (and me….bacon was on the menu) and I snoopervised the outside activity from the front porch (when they were in the front yard) and the back deck (when they were out back). A guy’s gotta keep an eye on the old folks you know!
Tomorrow is Tuesday Teaser (as if I had to tell YOU that!) – so make sure you get plenty of sleep tonight so you’ll be ready to rock-n-roll tomorrow when the Teaser goes live! You know we have AWARDS for guessing FIRST, guessing RIGHT, guessing SORT OF RIGHT and even for guessing WRONG!

Wow, you had a perfect sunday and sunshine is a great gift for every mom too. I can send you a black bird who can live in your bird house, but it’s an evil guy, he is a one-bird-bomb-squad :o) I’m ready for tomorrow, maybe I’m the first right guesser? Hi Easy! Congratulations on second place at the pup show! I’m proud of you and I know your Mom and Dad are too. Those blackbirds are messy – they hang out in our trees and Mom almost needs to carry an umbrella out there because of the “bombs”! You have bleedin’ heart bloomin’? EVER LUCKY! Ours is just a few inches high but there are flower buds comin’ if you poke in among the new leaves. Oohhh…. and I was sniffin’ around some of the babies the peep grew from the mama plant and it looks like one of those babies is gonna bloom this year, too!

We had a very HOT day yesterday but that’s not at all normal……..today is more “normal” for Spring here – going to be in the 70s. I’m going to have a little outside time while it’s cool this morning. Hope you get more condo time today Nylablue!!

I spent all day on the couch yesterday except to get up at 4 for wine time and to plant a pot of petunies. I was watching TinyKittens waiting for Mom Calypso to pop out her kittens. I was also exhausted from Mom’s Day festivities!!!! Your yard looks lovely Sammy!
