Tellin’ It Like It Is!

Happy Tell All day……………..was it tough or not so tough – that is the question! Well, honestly a whole bunch of you got it right………….so maybe either you trusted the guesses you saw before or you really recognized it ! Either way, only ONE of you guessed first…………….stay tuned to find out WHO!

Here’s that devil of a photo one more time……………..

It is indeed Wake Island in the Pacific Ocean and it’s VERY small and there is a military base on it – that’s why you see the airfield. My Mom and her family landed there on a stopover on their way to her Dad’s two year tour of duty in Taiwan. Mom says HER Mom couldn’t believe they were going to land a great big airliner on this itsy bitsy island (to fuel up) but they did and they had about an hour to wander around on the beach. My Mom remembers that inside the tiny airport she and her brother asked a man who worked there to show them where Taiwan (Formosa) was on this HUGE wall map. The man showed them and it was a tiny speck on the map! They were a bit apprehensive about living on a speck for two years.

WHO Guessed Right FIRST?

My friends at Friends Furever did – that’s who……..WOOT WOOT! How did they know it was Wake Island? Not sure but they were pretty quick to guess it right so congratulations to you – you guys get this little marvel of a badge:

Now a whole bunch of you guessed Wake Island…………you were right but not FIRST………..so you get this one!

Clueless? Yeah….lots of people were but even you get something:

Now for something completely different – and I do mean DIFFERENT!!!! Today is another friend’s birthday AND we’re celebrating it in style – it’s very much HER style too – she’s a famous woofie underwear model of course and we all know her as Mollie! Mollie wears a bra like nobody’s business but today – to say Happy Birthday Mollie – a bunch of us who know and love her are sporting her favorite item of lingerie ourselves to show our SUPPORT (hahahahaha) of her style!
