Fursday

Standard

Howdy……….well we survived our first “house showing” yesterday.  I enjoyed watching people slip-sliding up and down our driveway thanks to all that snow and ice we had two days ago.  I say, if you’re nuts enough to want to go OUT in that stuff then you have to suffer the consequences right?   Six inches of snow is NO FUN.

Well I didn’t suffer – I was in the basement with my Mom and Dad when strangers came…………that’s what we do……….HIDE!   I did a whole lot of you know what……

That’s what I do best…………….hide………….oh and sleep…………and I’m thinking if I just keep doing that maybe this whole thing will be over ASAP.   You know how when you take a snooze everything just goes away for a little bit?  That’s the plan…..snooze my way through until everything settles down again.

Hopefully that will be the last of the snow for the year so when people come to the house maybe Mom, Dad and I can go out in the yard and “wait it out”…………that would be a nice change too.   C’mon SPRING!

Happy Fursday

    • Easy I think it’s just gotten lost somewhere – maybe in the Bahamas? If so, I’d be willing to go there and try and talk it into coming to see you and me and lots of our friends….what do you think? Should I hop on a plane and track Spring down? Wanna come with me? We can’t miss with TWO of us hunting. With your NOSE and my TOES we’d find it in no time!

  1. I suddenly had an image of you all hiding in the basement and jumping out on the unsuspecting viewers just as they entered your house having survived the drive way of death! That would be hilarious – you should so do that!!

  2. I’d buy your house, but I’m what most people would call poor.
Would be great if Pam and David would dress as clowns, with some fake blood on their clothes, and wait for people to come down to see the basement and scare the life out of them. Yeah, it’d be nice.

    • I wish I could say something swell like “Tahiti” but we’re only moving about a mile and a half away to a nice 55+ (old folks..haha) community. Mom and Dad have decided this house is too big and the yard is too much to keep up with…….the new house is nice because the neighborhood association does ALL the yard maintenance! WOO HOO!

    • Well I have one long nap under my belt to pass the time when the strangers are here – I made it just fine through that so I can do it AGAIN and AGAIN until the house sells! I’m a BIG BOY – I can handle it!!!! Your Mom can squee over my paws any time she wants to…… 🙂 🙂 🙂

    • It would be nice if the family that came last night wanted to buy our house – I approved of them and so did my Mom and Dad. Very nice young couple with an adorable chubby little six month baby boy. SO CUTE!!!!! Anyway, they seemed to like the house….guess we’ll find out one of these days if they liked it enough to want it!

    • I hope so Miss Caren and Cody…….my parents hope so too……….and I can’t BELIEVE you’re getting more snow but I did see another weather system up in your area on the weather map – sorry it isn’t just rain instead of the dreaded WHITE STUFF. We still have ours on the ground but expect some higher temps the next few days and it will be gone…….hopefully…….we’re SICK of it (and I’m sure you are too!!!).

  5. I like the way you think cousin. Snooze until it is all over. Let the humans do ALL of the work. That’s what I would do for sure. Cause you know if they see you, they might put you to work like they do me here. XOXO – Bacon

  7. Well, Sammy, the best thing would be if one of the early visitors decides to buy your home, that would quickly put an end to all the hiding issues:) Lots of luck on the sale.

    • I agree…..what’s with that? My house is a cat house PERIOD……my stuff is everywhere and Mom wondered if she should hide it and I said “HECK NO!!!”…….so it’s there for all to see and know that I am a member of the family PERIOD. So there! 😉

  9. I loved all your sleepy photo’s, especially the close up’s 😀 xo

I was inspired this morning to make a nap fort for Blossum and Petals

But right after I took this photo, Petals jumped on top and broke the fort so I fixed it. Then she broke it and I fixed it again, then she broke it……see where this is going? Yep now she’s resting ON TOP of a pile of pillows and their blanket, LOL

    • Naps are EXCELLENT for all kinds of reasons right Nylablue? You need your naps to keep up your strength and I need them because I like to “escape” sometimes since I’m a nervous kind of guy! YAY NAPS!
