Teaser Tell All

So I promised to TELL ALL, and I’m here to do just that!

Golly a lot of you guessed Holland or Amsterdam, some guessed the Rhine, and then again a LOT of you guessed the Seine………..here’s the photo one last time!

Where was it?  Well it was on the Seine River right smack through Paris, France!    My Mom and Dad were on their HONEYMOON (a million years ago) and Mom snapped this from one of the tour boats on the river!

Wanna know WHO guessed the Seine first?  Hmm?   It was Miss Annie of Animal Couriers!!  WOO HOO!!  Concatulations Miss Annie……..and this little gem is ALL for you:

But as I said, there were bunches of you who knew it was the Seine River through Paris and I’m VERY proud of all of you too……………so proud that I’m giving you the much coveted Sammy Hug I Knew The Teaser award:

Those of you who were off base – out in the woods – up the creek without a paddle – clueless – even you get a little something for your effort:

Now, may I give you yet another reminder (YES THIS IS FOR REAL) that NEXT Tuesday there will NOT be a Tuesday Teaser……………however you need to show up here ANYWAY because there will be three voting polls for you to agonize over so that will be more fun than the old Teaser anyway.   Doesn’t matter if you’re going on the moon trip or not you get to vote.  OK?  OK!

Just to let you know, my Mom isn’t the only “chaperone” going on this little trip of ours…………….my girlcatfriend Sundae’s Mom Miss Dianna who is a super good friend of my Mom is coming along to chaperone too.  There are so many of us going on this trip, it will take two HUMANS to keep track of us and make sure we have every little thing our hearts desire.  How’s that for service?????   And if we need something that’s not on the moon, we’ll contact Nylablue and her Mom who are going to be here on Earth at Mission Control and they’ll send up the little supply rocket with whatever we need.

This truly is a FIRST CLASS trip to the Moon gang……………..and it’s gonna be a lot of fun.  I promise you that!

So until tomorrow – good old Thursday – I’ll say a fond farewell……………I’m feeling Springy this afternoon because it’s SIXTY DEGREES here and my snow is finally melting!

Just call me “Bye Bye Snow Sammy” !

    • HAHAHAHA!!!! Well, it was a bit hard to tell where that photo was from BUT someone actually recognized that tiny bit of bridge on the edge of the photo and figured out it was the Seine!

  2. So glad that Miss Annie got the Teaser Sammy congrats! we were way off base….it really did look like Midsummer 🙂 and so great that your mum has help with Sundaes mum on the big moontrip!! some of those anipals can get a little …well rowdy! and your snow is melting and there is green underneath…I always wondered whether beneath the snow would have died and gone brown…you live and learn my sweet man 😉 hugs Fozziemum xx

  3. Congratulations Miss Annie! U2 said once in LA “the streets have no names” and in Paris the ships are nameless :o) Oh with your mom and Sundae’s mom on board and with Nylablue and her mom on earth I think we are safe. Then our radio message is: Canada, we have a problem, right?

  4. Awesome – I guess I was closer this time than I have in the past – snorts. LOVE, your melting snow. All of my ice is gone now. And good riddance. I don’t want to see snow again … if ever! XOXO – Bacon

    • Hi Miss Boomdee….yep – Mom and Dad had Paris as their next to last stop on their honeymoon parade of cities…started in Rome, then Venice, then Lucerne, then Paris, then London then HOME SWEET HOME!

      Hugs, Sammy

        • Hi !! On our honeymoon we worked with a travel agent and she arranged hotels for us in all the cities we wanted to visit – then we just got Eurrail passes and traveled on our own from city to city and stayed in the hotels and saw what we wanted to see!! It was GREAT. The train service as you know is FABULOUS in Europe – unlike most of the trains here in the USA……but after that trip and a couple of short trips in between, we’ve done hosted trips or the river cruises which we just LOVE.

          Hugs, Pam

  6. It helped that the humans were just in Paris in November! Mom is really glad that there will be two chaperones going to the moon. And it makes her feel even better that if one of us forgets something she can contact our sisfur Nylablue and Mom Sherri-Ellen to send it to us. Mau is once again locked out of Cat Scouts so he’s decided to bury his head between his paws and sleep. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

    • Oh dearie me…..Mau’s locked out again? I’m so sorry about that….it’s tough going through Scout withdrawals (!)!! Yes, my Mom and her friend Dianna will be great chaperones I’m sure. Really we’ll be a very well behaved group I think but at least we have humans to help us if need be. Nylablue is sick again and headed to Dr. Dave today with Miss Sherri-Ellen but if she’s better they will be at the helm of Mission Control if we need any additional supplies!

      Happy Napping Mau!
      Hugs, Sammy

    • Well, my peeps were “second timers” so while their first honeymoons (if they had them at all…haha) would have been black and white memories, in 1990 they both had better cameras (and a better honeymoon…hahaha).

      Hugs, Sammy
