ALL TOGETHER NOW…..
BACON SATURDAY!!!!
Well, indeed – we made it through another grueling week and here we are on Saturday – Mom and Dad are frying up a load of bacon and making pancakes and I’m here, patiently tapping my ginger toes on the floor and staring up quietly at Mom……while I drool out the side of my mouth at the yummy smell of my fave thing in the universe (next to my Mom of course)!!
You know yesterday when I was reminiscing about all the blog posts I’ve written (good thing I have thumbs otherwise writing that many posts would have been hard!) I was thinking that I need to plan some kind of fun activity for all of us to do. Remember the camping trip? We had a blast……three days of fun……in an exotic location with woods AND a beach……I know I’ve shown these photos before but ONCE MORE wouldn’t hurt……because I’m thinking we might want to do this AGAIN! This isn’t even all the photos we had – just a sampling to remind you……
OR, maybe something entirely different…….how about a poll and we’ll figure out what YOU would like to do then we’ll do it by golly!!!
Most of us in colder climates are suffering from the Winter Ickies – and some of you who are in warmer climates are tired of all the heat – so why not plan something FUN for all of us to take our minds off things – whatcha say?
I’ll leave the poll up for a while……then we’ll see what’s what. You can add your OWN ideas in there too!
So if you’ll excuse me, Mom has finished making bacon (haha) and now I’m gonna put a napkin round my neck, sit at the table like a BIG BOY with my parents in my chair and chomp up some of that delicious BACON. I hope YOU get a special treat today too – why? Just BECAUSE!!!

Oh Sammy we think this is great fun and a wonderful way to hang out together when we are all so sick of having cabin fever from heat of snow or wind or rain!!!! Hi Fozziemum! Bacon was delish and guess what – we had another dusting of snow last night so when I see you soaking your buns in that outside tub it seems impawsible that you’re HOT and we’re COLD. It’s a topsy survy world we live in huh??? Stay cool – and stay fire-free – and know that if we could send you some snow we would!

Snow..ahhhh well Sammy our phone weathe dude still says we are getting snow!…in fact tonight it’s only 19c..muccccch better 🙂 and that bath…dirty from the boys hahah was just the ticket with a cold ginger beer 😉

Glad you might get some cooling off other than in your outside tubs!!! I bet the fire fighters are happy for some cool weather too…….Mom says she’s never had a ginger beer but it sounds rather delish!

Yes all emergency alerts have been downgraded..a lot of bush has gone again an stock lost..which always gets me…ginger beer is delish it’s non alcoholic and is a lovely gingery refreshing drink….:) hugs Fozziemum xx

Sammy, Mau cannot believe you are not getting enough excitement in Cat Scouts. Of course, all of us who don’t belong to scouts think this is a super idea. We weren’t sure if we wanted ballooning or the moon, but after voting we see the two are tied, so that is way cool. Enjoy those bacon noms. Mau says he’ll see you at scouts. Well those were just two of my bazillion ideas and I thought everyone else might have an idea to contribute – but I do think it’s time for a road trip on ONE SPOILED CAT. The camping trip was a blast but something else would be fun too!! As for Scouts – Raz and I are in our Den but we’re the only two who have shown up! Kind of discouraging – we’re trying to get the other members FIRED UP……sigh.

Mau says he hopes that you can get your other Patrol members motivated. Gracie is such a great leader, he says that only a couple of Wolverine members are a little less active. He thinks that once competition begins the others will come around both in Gracie’s and Raz’s Patrols. In the meantime, we think we better start building our spaceship. I think Mau is right – once things begin heating up, people will begin WANTING to be involved and begin to pawticipate! Today we managed to get two more of our Rumblers to show up! Apparently the closing down of Catsters is leaving a lot of cats with tons of work to save all their “stuff” on there before it shuts down. We weren’t members so I have no idea what that involves but apparently a LOT OF WORK!!!

My Mom and Dad aren’t much for camping either – although in a nice big RV with all the bells and whistles I think they’d survive but in a tent with nothing?? NO WAY BABY!!!! HAHAHAHAHA

I had my usual ration of the fabulous bacon this morning – did a clean-up thing then hit the sack (literally)…my papersack in the kitchen….for a quick snooze….a guy’s gotta do that after a big tummy full of bacon you know!

We actually had bacon for supper last night….now that’s a special treat! Our new puppy got to try it for the first time, and guess what? He liked it! 🙂
