Woweeeeee….whatta Christmas!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day. We had the BEST ever one. The only thing missing was snow BUT I’m not complaining. I’m not that crazy about the stuff anymore even though I liked it as a kid. What I did like yesterday was smelling the turkey cooking, opening presents with my Mom and Dad by the Christmas tree and I tried (really I did) to smile but wound up looking pretty cranky in almost all the photos. I just don’t get along well with Mr. Flashy Box!
I have really enjoyed seeing everyone’s Christmas blogs and cards and decorations and especially enjoyed participating in Secret Paws this year. What a treat that was! I’m loving all the stuff I got from my buddy King Spitty. Thanks again Spitty – you and your Human picked out some GREAT stuff for me and my Mom!!
Tuesday Teaser was especially fun because I used that photo of Santa Claus House in North Pole, Alaska but I didn’t really expect to fool ANYONE…….yet I sort of did! However SEVERAL people knew that’s where it was including of course my First Right Guesser, Roxy and Tigerlino the Purrfect Kitties. They got a special Christmas Eve version of the winners badge.
Did you have a good Christmas too? I hope so……I’d love to hear what you FAVORITE thing that Santa Paws brought you was………tell me in comments. I can tell you that my favorite thing was a cardboard box that something Mom got from Santa Paws was in. Mom says that’s typical – I ALWAYS like the boxes, ribbons and tissues better than my new toys!! Ha Ha!
Tomorrow we’ll be cleaning this place up……there’s Christmas carnage everywhere…..bits of paper, glitter, ribbon, tape – it’s a wreck BUT that’s just part of the fun of Christmas right? I’ll give Mom a break and not act like it’s the end of the world when she pulls the vacuum cleaner aka MR. MONSTER out of the closet. I promise. Really.

Oh and we don’t like Mr. Flashy Box either! He’s quite annoying, isn’t he? Not quite as annoying as the MONSTER, but still annoying. We can’t understand the human’s obsession with taking pictures all the time… 😉

Sounds like a fun Christmas, S. Glittery carnage is always a good sign! My favorite new toy was my LOL Rollover Sock Monkey. It laughs hysterically and rolls around on the floor. I’m sure you’ll see that crazy character on my blog, soon.

‘Tis the season to gain weight….fa la la la la la la la la” – at least it is around here. Mom got two boxes of Godiva chocolate which she’s keeping by HER chair in the living room…..I got bags of new kinds of treats which I have stashed all around the house……and I’ll NEVER have room in my toywagon for all the stuff I got. Whew…..now we need to REST up! I’m glad you all had a fab Christmas too!

Woweeeee is right, Sammy! You must have been super extra good with all those toys Santa brought you! My favorite was the tissue from one of my brofur, Marshall’s, packages. My stepsister, Gypsy’s, favorite was the kitty cube that you sent her, Sammy! And thanks for our toys! Motor Mommy says I have to send one of ’em to Gypsy…… Ok….since it’s Christmas…!

Oh Easy I was worried SO MUCH about you because of the chimney disaster and roof disaster. I mean sometimes BAD THINGS happen in threes so I was afraid to ask if anything ELSE was wrong….but seeing you and your Mom on your blog and seeing your video with all those presents in your stocking makes me realize that even with disasters, there’s so much LOVE in your crib that disasters are no big deal……I’m happy you had a great Christmas and I hope you got some yummy food too! We really had two horrible nights, but now the storm is gone with the wind. Hope the insurance guy will come soon :o) The third thing happened too, the elephant skater was on strike. He is still in the car-hospital and we wait for the diagnosis. I hope next year we will have only good days :o)

Oh boy! After Christmas surprises are as good as (or something better than) Christmas surprises!! Catnip is a wonderful gift – however I’m one of those weird (no – not weird – make that SPECIAL) cats who doesn’t react to the stuff. I’ve had the best too believe me and still – I just stare at my Mom like she’s nuts for handing me something catnip-filled. Sigh. I guess I didn’t inherit the catnip gene from my parents (whoever they were).

Sammy you got some great presents. My kitties favorite was a round scratcher that has the ball on the outside and a feather toy. They got lots more than that but; I think they liked those the best.

I was not only “good” this year – I was (in my humble opinion) PERFECT! Didn’t cause any problems AT ALL (not counting the trip to the vet for my annual physical when I sort of accidentally bit my Mom).

Wow Sammy, what a haul of loot and with your b’day just around the corner. Your tunnel is wonderpurr. Mommy was going to get us one but decided we were already getting enough. We got two more ham-micks, a thingie that looks like a gun and shoots treats in the air, an egg-shaped thingie that we can push on the floor to get treats out, two wands with fev-vers and so much more. We have never had such a great Christmas. We think the humans were feeling guilty about deserting us so much this year. Have fun with all your toys and boxes. Well Kitties, I had a feeling your pawrents would try to make up for all the desertions they’ve pulled this past year and indeed they did! Sounds like you had a GREAT time with tons of new presents…..which (if you ask me) is as it should be. I’m enjoying my boxing day box. All the others were thrown out but this one will serve me well until it finally falls apart (usually about two months after Christmas).
