Whee have that same plant in our garden and it attracts lots of butterflies here too! Mummy isn’t very good at growing things but this plant has survived her TLC so it must be good.
We DID have a great Caturday and I think Sunday’s gonna be JUST as pretty! Maybe MORE butterflies will come today – I was a bit upset I only had ONE visitor yesterday!
Good morning, Sammy,
Sheesh! My mom sure wishes Word-depress would get its act together. We still aren’t getting notifications about your blog…. !
Love all your pictures from that gorgeous day yesterday. I know you had a wonderful time outside.
Love, Sundae
Sammy what beautiful pictures..like watching Dinnermintz you to are so alike 🙂 Have a beautiful day as we catch up on allllll the bloggies ahahaah 🙂 Hugs Fozziemum xxxx
I have such a plant too – but it is just a very small thingy. At least this year it had ONE blossom, that’s a great success for people with black thumbs :o) The plant stickers are very, very cute, I think Mollie’s humom has golden paws, she is very talented! Have a wonderful Butterfly-Day dear Sammy.
Hi Easy! I agree about Mollie’s Mom – she’s SO creative and always thinking of new stuff for the shop. I’m glad SOMEONE’s creative around here! My butterfly bush had TONS of purple blossoms on it a few weeks ago but I think it’s getting tired of the hot summer weather because there aren’t that many on it now. Mom has been trimming it to encourage more but they aren’t cooperating. Mom’s plant is SIXTEEN YEARS OLD – older than ME! She’s moved it three times in the yard…….and cuts it back every Fall – it comes back every Spring. It’s definitely my FAVE plant! Happy Sunday to you and your staff Easy!
Hi there!! We’re going outside in a bit after Mom finishes helping me with my bloggy and I’m HOPING to see more butterflies. I was rather disappointed yesterday….. 😦
I’m TRYING to be patient but really – where the heck are all those butterflies that were here two days ago???? There were a kajillion of them and now that Mom wants to take a photo they vanished!
Austin I could certainly appreciate a shipment of butterflies right now because today I only had ONE butterfly guy visit me – probably the same guy from yesterday – I was disappointed BUT I did get a lot of “out time” with Mom so it wasn’t a total loss.
I hope you had more butterflies today, Sammy! Those plant sticks are really cute. We had a butterfly bush last year but it died. 😦 I don’t think it drew in many butterflies anyway. But we have seen a lot more this year, even without that bush!
Well today was an epic fail in the butterfly department – why? Not sure….it was a beautiful, warm and sunny day and I waited….and waited….and napped….and waited…..and spent a LOT of time on the back deck under Mom’s chair taking the air but only ONE butterfly (probably the same poor soul as yesterday) came to visit. What’s up? Oh well…..a guy can’t have his way ALL the time!
Only one butterfly! That’s too sad. At least its a purrfect day to spend in the garden. Hope you had a great time, Sam. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
I was rather upset that only one butterfly showed up for the big photoshoot……sigh…….well, maybe my big intimidating ginger self scared them off….now THAT would be a “first” !!
I hope she had a great day – Mom hasn’t heard from her since yesterday but she lives in North Carolina and probably was out enjoying her birthday – at least we HOPE so!!
Hi Nellie! The plant sticks are way cool we agree – Mollie’s Mom makes such cute stuff. The little boys next door were perfect models don’t you think???
Well, that bush looks pretty fun. Hmm, those sticky little people are cute. I hope they don’t get all grabby hands with you! ::shudder:: The sticks are super cool, but you can’t really chase them and kill them and eat them, soooo….meh. The Human likes them, though.
You’re right Spitty. I took a taste of one of the sticks (the one with the caterpillar on it) and it tasted icky. Mom took it away from me real quick so I guess that was the wrong thing to do. Anyway, they look swell in the plant pots and after all that’s where they should be. The little people are cute and my Mom enjoys them but me “not so much” – I politely asked to be let back in the house ASAP when I saw them coming up on our deck!
That was fun, I loved the trip into the garden with you Sammy. “Down the stairs to the yard I go, ho ho” was my favourite part. Oh and the picture of you in the dappled shade of the butterfly bush too. Cute.
oh Sammy what a wonderful garden to get to stroll around in…Mom wishes I could be taught to wear a harness…she would love to take me out in the garden…but so far I have never ever shown any interest whatsoever in going out a door
Savvy you know what? It’s the BEST place to be – indoors – it’s safe, it’s comfy, it’s secure and when you’re a bit nervous, “secure” is ever so important! I was trained from a baby to be on a harness and leash but I should think it’s tougher when you’re older.
Da wee Hu’manz are so cute sammy!! Maybee put butterfly wngz on dem 😉
Happy huntin!
Lub Nylablue n Mum (sowwy we took so long to get here…Wordpoop!!)
