Caturday! WOO WOO WOOOOOOOOO! But first things first………I have to pay homage to my fabulous Mom because after all, SHE cooks the bacon I get on Caturday and Sunday!
See Mom? You’re always #1 around here. Or at least you’re TIED for #1 (tee hee). Remember this poem I wrote about bacon????
So other than starting my day with bacon, today I thought I’d spend some time outside – it’s supposed to be a GORGEOUS weekend both days. I’m gonna visit my butterfly bush spying spot and Mom’s gonna have the flashy box handy so she can take a photo of me stalking, hunting, murdulating, grabbing, clutching, watching the butterflies! Fun huh?
Remember I said that yesterday I’d have a ZEN kind of day and not worry about the monster coming out of the closet to clean the house? Well I did it. I really did it. I ZENNED out all morning and Mom was very proud of me. Not once did she see me peeking around a corner with wide eyes at the MACHINE, nor did she see me at the top of the stairs stalking the MACHINE from above….in fact, I napped right though it I was so ZEN-ified! Just proves I am capable of being a calm, cool, and collected cat. Who knew?????

I’ll be back tomorrow to let you know (and hopefully show proof) about my butterfly experiences today. Like I said, we’re “locked and loaded” with the flashy box so who knows……as long as Mr. Weatherman cooperates and our “Yard Cat” Stevie doesn’t show up to try and pick a fight, I’m good. I’m more than good. I’m READY!

Hi Charlie! Mom’s all set for butterfly pix this morning – it’s just a matter of the sun moving over to that side of the house so the butterflies will land on MY butterfly bush – then I hope that camera is clicking away and I also hope I’m UNDER the bush watching the butterflies too because that’s what Mom wants to capture with her camera. Chicken rolled fish sounds DELISH! Enjoy!

Oh Bacon every time I talk about “the other bacon” I think of you and how much I hope I don’t offend piggies when I talk about how much I ADORE bacon. Well, I DO adore it and that includes you as a PIGGY and not as a MEAL! Mom’s got the flashy box on “stand by”……it’s a bit too early for the butterflies to arrive as the sun’s just peeked up over the trees out in the yard…..but later when it heats up they’ll be ALL OVER my butterfly bush! Woo Hoo!

Stevie’s got it made……she shows up when she wants to…..eats when she wants to…..sleeps in MY rocking chairs on the front porch when she wants to……wanders off back to her own house when she wants to……what a deal! The biggest problem with her is on the rare occasion I decide to go outside when I see her there and try to mind my own business she’ll come at me and want to fight! She’s mean! She needs a TON of ZEN! 😉

Stevie is a cat who belongs to a neighbor but Stevie likes OUR yard, MY porch, and MY food better than his own. Yep – and Stevie naps on MY rocking chairs too. He’s mean to me on top of that! Wow Sam, Stevie sounds like a real threat. We have two kitty neighbors, Biscuit, who never leaves her yard, and Sparky, who is at our house all the time looking for a handout. If Misty May sees him, she gets all mean and chases him away. He really is very sweet and timid. We don’t think your mom and dad would throw you over for Stevie. Austin I think maybe Stevie and Tigger are cut from the same cloth. I’ve tried to ZEN Stevie but he doesn’t cooperate – while I’m Zening, he’s poking me. He’s just mean. Period. Bacon helps me deal with the whole thing rather nicely. Bacon is kitty Prozac. HAHAHAHAHA

Poor Spitty……well, your human is CLAIMING to have tried offering the most sacred of gifts – beloved bacon – to you and you’ve turned up your nose (which is for me VERY hard to understand!)……but trust me – it’s definitely worth a try.
