Tell It Like It Is!

Hi Peeps!

Well that was a pretty darn good Teaser yesterday don’t you think?  For one thing it looked VERY SIMILAR to a photo I had on a previous teaser that my parents snapped in Ireland – – – VERY similar and in fact so similar someone guessed Ireland!

BUT, it was NOT Ireland…………….here’s the photo again:

This photo was taken by my Mom in the area of the Petrified Forest in ARIZONA, USA!!!

AND – GUESS WHAT – the FIRST person who guessed right was the ONLY person who guessed right and that was EASY !!  Our favorite weimaraner guy is turning into a force to be reckoned with on the Tuesday Teaser isn’t he????

        • Easy’s “love interest” is a very pretty Weimie-girl of a slightly different color – they would look rather stunning together I think….imagine how cute the little Easies would be! Tee Hee

          • Most of the snakes we’ve seen here are harmless black snakes or garter snakes…..but we HAVE had copperheads and they are NOT NICE. One of Mom’s friends was in the hospital for two days after being bitten by one of those guys! Mom really has a THING about snakes…..Why? Who knows! She lived on an island where there are more kinds of snakes than anywhere in the world (Taiwan) and only saw TWO snakes the whole two years she was there so why does she freak out? Well, I’ve come to realize that humans are most curious creatures sometimes. Tee Hee

          • Taiwan Sammy! home of some nasty Taipans etc..we have copperheads to in Australia..not where we live..our region has Eastern Brown snakes that at baby stage and about 10 inches long have enough venom to kill 20 human adults..also red-bellied blacks which can kill but are not aggressive like the browns..snake catchers usually won’t remove red-bellies because they eat baby browns and as such are good to have around..we also have tiger snakes..haven’t seen one here though..only the browns..the one in the bag in that pic was over six feet long and aggressive as all get up!! maybe mum is wise to be wary..too many people here die from trying to kill snakes..snake usually wins!

          • My Mom’s friend was just doing a bit of landscape clean up and stuck her gloved hand under a small shrub to get some leaves and ZAP…..thank heavens her roommate was home and was able to get her to the emergency room quickly where a day later she was told she was “very lucky” to be alive. Since then (a few months ago) Mom is EXTRA CAREFUL out in the yard. EXTRA with a capital EVERYTHING! LOL

          • Wow Sammy mums friend is very very lucky! sometimes snakes do a “dry’ bite..they know when something is prey and when something is a threat..so is threatened they can bite but “dry’ reserving most of the venom as it is need for food..when tis happens you can indeed be sick but also lucky..perhaps mums friend had a dry bite..even with a full puncture they can control venom release..smart aren’t they! this is why often the younger the snake the more dangerous as with most young things they are brash and not yet aware of this need to conserve venom and lash out like a teenager with full venom!..you tell mum to be careful indeed..lucky with our browns despite being one of the deadliest in the world they have very short fangs and can’t punture denim etc so usually you can be safe..i live in boots all summer..sweaty and safe 😉

          • Better to be sweaty and safe than……….NOT! Tee Hee A rather interesting follow-up to Mom’s friend….a week or so after this happened, she found the snake’s skin on the lawn so perhaps it was in its’ “changling” phase when she disturbed it. Who knows…..it was a reminder for her to see it though…..

          • Yuk..have found skins before and I know that no matter how big they are….they are there because they had gotten too small..they rub themselves on rocks or firm ground so makes sense that is where she got bitten…yuk…..

    • Easy you really are something when it comes to Teasers…….everybody is quite jealous of your expertise you know. With or without your catalogs you just seem to be able to pick up all the clues and guess right. I was just reading on your blog this morning that Gizmo has found THE WEIMIE WOMAN FOR YOU!!!!! How exciting. Will long distance romance work???????

          • Dad said he will ask our dentist when he has his next appointment – he was an official of the dog show, maybe he knows a girl or a buddy for me. I hope it isn’t much painful for him – and if -love hurts :o)

          • Well it’s true about love hurting but it’s a “good” hurt and I think it would be absolutely CHARMING if you had a girlfriend you could visit and play with – it would give REAL MEANING to the term “play date” which so many of our blog buddies have with each other. I think Blogville could do with a little romance in the air…..don’t you???????

          • Sadly it is true. Mom placed an ad in 2011 for a “walk pool” and we got an answer from Luxembourg what has a similar zip code – but it is 490 miles away :o)

    • Mom says Arizona has EVERYTHING…..desert, moon-like landscapes, beautiful mountains, interesting vegetation……I think it looks a bit like a big litter box myself…..HAHA

  13. Well Sam and Pam, we didn’t even try to guess yesterday. Mom told us that she thought it was in the U.S., but that is as far as we got. Why? Mom has been hogging the computer responding to every single comment from our blogoversary. She even made us do a few. She still doesn’t have a clue how you two do it every single day.     • It’s not easy keeping up with comments but my Mom has a “THING” about it….she says if people take time to comment, she will FIND time to respond. Crazy huh? Actually, sometimes as you know the response is pretty danged short but other times she’s writing an novel. HAHAHAHAHA

      • Mom always makes sure that we have commented on any blog that has commented on ours. She’s beginning to think that Dad might be a little miffed by the 12+ hours a day on the computer.
