Hi Everyone!
Holy cow did we ever get a LOT of rain yesterday. I’ve been reading on some of your blogs that it’s either so hot you can barely stand it or you’re getting drenched with rain like me – what’s with that? Huh?
It’s happening again like it did a while back – I’m glad I’m on a hill! EEEEEK!
It’s supposed to be better next week. But I’ve heard THAT one before. Are any of us ever really, truly HAPPY with our weather anymore? Maybe it’s time we start a petition to give to the weather guy.
I’m trying to make the best of it though………playing with my toys, napping a lot, pestering Mom at every opportunity, catching up on reading YOUR blogs…….the usual “making the time pass” kind of stuff. But honestly, it’s not easy sometimes. I’d kinda like to go outside and munch a little greenery, perhaps play in a puddle – continue searching for the missing Freddy the Frog (alas I think he’s moved away permanently)……but all I do is look out the window and WAIT.
Tomorrow is SUNday…..do you think because it’s called SUNday that maybe – just MAYBE – we might have some sun?????
A guy can only hope…………….

Gracious me Sammy you may need water wings soon ! we have had rain today …thankgoodness..we are in winter and have had nearly no rain,just chilling cold! ..so send some to us..we are on a hill too so also safe from being swept away…you do look terribly cute still! 🙂

Being on a hill comes in handy doesn’t it?! When it’s super rainy we’re up here where it’s safe – – – when it snows we have a great hill to sled on – – – when the sun’s out we get it first before the people down below! Tee Hee

I’ll tell my Dad Austin because he’s hammering away in the basement and making quite a racket…..we could have just gotten one from WalMart! Sigh. I suppose I shouldn’t be so anxious to get Mr. Sun back really – after all, he’s not that good for my delicate red-headed guy skin!

Katie same here….rain rain rain and more rain…..then about an hour ago Mr. Sun finally decided to poke his head out of the clouds. How long it will last is anybody’s guess but I think I will – AT LONG LAST – get to go outside in my yard!

Hi Cody! Well, since earlier this morning we managed to squeeze Mr. Sun out of his hiding place behind all the rain clouds. He’s now sitting up there with his sun glasses on and a big smile on his face…….I don’t know if he’s gonna be around for long but it sure feels nice for a change. STAY COOL CODY!

We finally got a break from all the rain and humidity, for a couple of days anyway. I think it’s coming back tomorrow! Oh well, I guess weather is one of those things we can’t do anything about, but try to make the best of it, which it sounds like you were doing, Sammy!

I am loving the heat at the moment, but I am hillwalking in Northern Ireland at the end of the month, and I hoping for much cooler weather for those six days!

Oh I’m sure you are hoping for cooler weather – perhaps up in the hills of Ireland it will be cooler anyway…..I hope so. Heat is nice……..FOR A WHILE……….then you just want to sit under a shady tree and have a big glass of iced tea and chill out! LOL

Hi Miss Sue….yes my Mom painted that – YEARS AND YEARS AGO and it was one of her first oils. She hasn’t painted in a long time. We finally broke through all the rainclouds and Mr. Sun came out….I’m hoping he likes what he sees and stays for a while. I got to go outside briefly a while ago and it was ever so NICE!

Sammy and I are happy to say that old Mr. Sun broke through the cloud cover this afternoon and made an appearance…………at last………….I got out my lawn tractor and got the yard done as quickly as possible before Mr. Sun could change his mind! IT’s still glorious – we’re having a cookout for dinner! WOO HOO!

Whee have a heat wave here. Today whee only spent a little while in the garden cos the hooman said whee might all melt. Unlucky for us pets, whee can’t take our fur coats off so whee are staying inside if it is as bad tomorrow!

After all the June rain stopped, wes actually had some pretty nice weather! It is not as hot as it can be this time of year and even though we has had some torrential down pours, they is no worse than others. All in all, it has been a pretty normal summer here.

Oh Nellie I’m glad you’re having “NORMAL” there because we’re certainly having “HORRIBLE” here…..very different weather really than we’re used to. My Mom says she’s wondering if because it’s so strange this summer, this means the fall and winter will be that way too. This coming week the temperatures here will be well into the upper 90s and one day it will be OVER ONE HUNDRED DEGREES!!!!! I guess I don’t have to tell you that this ginger boy will be INSIDE and in the A/C.

Oh Sammy…we had a few days of rain also…now we have a heat wave & it feels like over 100 F which means VERY hot & humid outside. We have to stay in between my Asthma & Nylablue’s Bowel Disease….we hope the weather breaks soon….sitting out in rain would be just fine with us, lol.

It’s super hot here too……….and we don’t have any wet coming this week unless we have pop up t-storms in the afternoon which wouldn’t be unusual on SUPER hot days like this. Meanwhile, Mom has kindly let me stick my nose out the front door when I ask but no way am I going out there – I’d rather be cool and calm!

I am with you sammy; indoors is better in this heat & have you noticed our weather patterns are VERY similar even tho we are so far apart???? Weird huh?
