Teaser Tell All

Standard

Hello Savvy Travelers and Excellent Photo Examiners of the World!!!!!

What’s that mean you may ask?  Well, what it means is that TONS of you knew the Teaser photos were taken in none other than Boston, Massachusetts.  Yep – they were.  I tried to throw some of you off who said Mamma Maria’s gave you the clue because (frankly) I found Mamma Marias all over the place in lots of cities but I think the surroundings gave it away.  Plus in conjunction with the cemetery (which many of you had seen before) and VOILA – lots of RIGHT guessers.

However, there was only one “FIRST RIGHT GUESSER” and right after I show you the photos again, you’ll find out WHO that was!

MysteryPhotosJune17

Who was the FIRST to guess Boston?  None other than the ever lovely, ever super detective, ever EVERYTHING, Easy the Weimaraner!   (can you hear the applause???)  So this is for you buddy and you now have TWO of these!

TuesdayTeaserFirst

While Easy was FIRST, there were a bunch of you who knew it was Boston, so let the HUGGING begin!  Correctly guessing were:

Princess Zena, Hailey & Zaphod, Texas, Gizmo, Sushi, Mollie, Misaki, Isobel, Boomdeeadda, Savannah, Doggy, Austin, Remy, and KatsRUs…………………..WOW!   Congratulations to all of you!  Here’s your HUG!

TeaserHugPoster

Woo Hoo!  So many right guessers this week.  Well, NEXT week we have a special Guest Teaser so while you skated by easily this week, maybe next week won’t be QUITE as easy!  Hear that Easy??????

Did you have a chance yesterday to stop over at Mollie’s and wish her Mom Stella a HAPPY BIRTHDAY?  I think she had a great day – partied and had fun – which is EXACTLY what she should have done.  After all, birthdays are super special and Mollie’s Mom is super special to all of us right?

Happy Wednesday Peeps – enjoy your day whatever you may do.

  1. Maybe you should put a limit on how many times each guesser can win…not to say that we’ll ever win, but gosh Easy finds all of this…well, EASY. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

By the way, Sammy, have you stopped over at Nellie’s today? There’s a new addition to her family! BUT, poor Nellie isn’t feeling well, and is heading to the vet’s soon…..
    We’re purraying for her!

    • Hi Sundae….yes I saw your post on Nellie’s bloggy and in fact I was the next commenter after you (!!)…..I’m happy they have a new addition – little JoJo is adorable – but poor Nellie I’m very worried about. Her eyes looked so bad the other day and I’ll be happy for her to see the vet. Maybe a bad infection in addition to her allergies. Poor pretty girl……. 😦

    • Hi Miss June! Well, Mom did take those photos in the late 80s – although I guess some of those places probably look the same now as then…..but you’re right – Easy is a MAN OF THE WORLD and knows where almost everything is – if he doesn’t, his “staff” certainly does!

      Happy Wednesday

  4. Oh thank you for my BIG Sammy hug and the badge of the “early bird”. I agree with Texas – I’m in advance for living in the “ole world” and for having a Teasermaniac at home who will spend the night from monday to tuesday in front of her compawter for being the first (should I better call the Dogtor for her?)

    • Hi Easy! HA! One of these days I’ll have to change the time that my blog goes live – THAT would give her a fit wouldn’t it??????????????? HAHAHAHAHA (aren’t I a wicked kitty??!!). CONCATULATIONS for yet another “First Guesser” badge my friend.

  5. With all your world travels, we thought for certain it was in Europe. Do you know the story behind the cemetery right beside that building? That could be a blog in itself, perhaps?

    • It’s a very OLD cemetery – Paul Revere is actually buried there……kind of a spooky sort of place but then a lot of cemeteries have that “feel” I suppose. Boston being a super old town would have some pretty interesting folks interred there though!

    • There was another shot of that restaurant where the cobblestone street was WAY obvious and that would have probably helped lead some other folks to the “Boston” conclusion too….there’s something about that town!

  8. I’ve never been to Boston but ol’ peepers, has, on more than one occasion. Did you know that there’s a big Boston-Halifax connection? I don’t live in Halifax but it’s the closest City to me so… I feel like I’m kind of from there.

    • Oh wow….that’s interesting – one of those “sister city” kinds of things??? My parents loved Boston…..and from there they rented a car and drove out on the Cape. It was my Mom’s first time there…..they had a great time.

      • Well… years and years and years ago, there was a HUGE explosion in Halifax. A ship carrying munitions blew up in the harbour. So many peeps died. Parts of the city were levelled. Boston sent up tonnes and tonnes of supplies to help those who survived. Now, every year, Halifax sends the biggest and best Christmas tree they can find down to Boston. There’s a big tree-lighting ceremony and everything.

        • Oh Nissy what a grand story that is…..sounds blog-worthy in fact because it’s rather fascinating don’t you think?? I love the whole idea of the Christmas tree being sent to Boston as thanks. Amazing – stuff that’s true is often quite amazing isn’t it?!

          Happy Friday!

    • Hi Pix! Well, then it was a good Teaser if you didn’t know….although there wasn’t a LOT to “pick up on” unless you had been there before I guess. That old cemetery is a popular spot for tourists since Paul Revere is buried there.

      Hugs and Happy Wednesday!

    • So happy your Mom recognized Boston……I guess it just all depends on where our peeps have traveled huh? Mom and Dad went to Boston a bazillion years ago but apparently some stuff NEVER changes and you can recognize familiar sights to this day. So happy you won a HUG!
