Howdy! It’s Thursday already (I mean Fursday)! Another week slipping by before I know it. Sigh. Mom says time is passing too quickly and maybe she’s right. I didn’t used to think that but now that I’m older than dirt mature like she is, time is flying.
Have you bid on something in the auction yet? We have! If you haven’t, or even if you just want to see what’s up for bidding, stop over at Dachsies With Moxie and take a peek. Auction is “ON” until July 4th so plenty of time to bid and help out the tornado victims while you’re shopping! Just to keep things interesting there are a couple of “bidding wars” going on – people REALLY want some of these things enough to try to outbid each other! WOO HOO……..it’s ALL good! 😀 😀
Also, as you know from my silly photo of my house floating on a lake (aren’t I a mess??), we had rain rain and more rain but yesterday was PURRRFECT! It was hot but not TOO hot and no sign of rain.
The flood waters have receded (ha) and the Tabbies of Trout Towne ate all the fish!
Yesterday it was more like THIS!
Now THIS is more like it!
That’s about it for news from my part of the world………….except that in spite of my happiness YESTERDAY at the sun being out – guess what we’re expecting here today? Yep – you guessed it. So Dad has NOT put all his tools away in the basement where he was working on the ark. Trust me……the ark is always on “stand by” !!

Yes we do Sundae…..I’m glad you’re inside where you’re safe – I’m staying inside too although Mom and I were out for a very long time this morning in the dark. It was quiet and nice and it even sprinkled a little on us! Later though it will be SCARY with maybe some tornados coming.

Hot hot hot in MissouREE yesterday. Cold front slipped thru overnight and much better today. Missouri is dealing with flooding and we have storms on the way for the weekend. Hope you don’t get any scary bad weather Sammy. I think it was lots better when I was a kid and didn’t know what kind of weather was coming.. 😀 Take care Sam!

Well, I didn’t see the kilt very well yesterday in the teaser picture, but I think England is close to Scotland, right? No? We started to have minimal weather out last night from the storm. We heard one of our outside chairs blow over, and the rain rained hard. I don’t know what the temperature was at the time, but it was hot. I saw an amazing sight before it started storming out in Illinois (I live in Galesburg). Outside our duplex home I went outside and saw the clouds. It looked like there was sunlight coming behind the clouds. I saw a few streaks of lightning, then got back inside. I thought it was God doing the magic power of the sunlight!

Yes indeed Scotland is the northern area of the island and England the southern…..beautiful country (both). We’ve been a couple of times and would return if we could. There’s so much to see. The sky before, after and sometimes during a storm is almost always interesting – cloud formations and colors…..it’s especially interesting if the sun’s rays peek out from behind a storm cloud…..sort of a “mixed message”!

Yes, that’s what the suns rays did, they peeked out behind the clouds. It was very interesting since it was night. I thought it was cool though. Galesburg is awesome, but it’s a small town. You guys should come down to Galesburg again sometime (I don’t know if you mean that or England or Scotland). I bet you guys would enjoy it!

Glad to hear you got a downgrade of what to expect today. We had a powerful storm through here over an hour ago (first band) but the one this afternoon is supposed to be worse and more dangerous. Hopefully it will change its’ mind and stay north of us which was one scenario I heard on the weather this morning. I don’t WISH bad weather on anyone but PREFER it not to be here! LOL I’m glad the water’s receding – we have some flooded roads but since we’re not going anywhere that doesn’t bother us!!!!
