Hi everybody! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend………….I did. We had SUN all weekend and when I found out this whole week ahead was going to be RAINY, I especially had a fabulous Sunday. Every spare sun puddle was one I popped in and enjoyed until it disappeared – then I’d move on to the next……inside AND outside…….
Stair sun is good….
Say – my stair sun is moving away!
Outside sun is good….especially if a good salad is being served!
But today is another story entirely. Yep – it sure is. I’ll be INSIDE listening to the rain falling outside and wondering if maybe there are frogs in the puddles. FREDDY WHERE ARE YOU? My buddy still hasn’t shown up and I’m getting concerned. Maybe this rain will bring him out……Mom has promised to go out and check for me between rain showers just in case.
I have some really EXCITING news about tomorrow’s Teaser! We’re going to have TWO TEASERS IN ONE…..that’s right……we have a “Guest Teaser” and there will be two chances to guess – I’ll explain it all in tomorrow’s blog but make sure you stop by. I was cruising around visiting blogs yesterday and it seems that OLD MAN WINTER is refusing to leave some of you alone…….you’re still getting snow! What’s with that? Some wacky Spring so far this year don’t you think?? We may be getting a little soggy around here but at least it’s rain and not white stuff.

II think Freddy will visit you soon (you haven’t french neighbors – or have you?). Mom said the frogs hibernate in a lake or swamp and they come back after reproduction and egg deposition there. I’m so excited for the teaser, TWO hugs… that’s irresistible… I’m there tomorrow :o)

Hi Easy! Well tell your Mom I appreciate hearing that Freddy might be “busy” right now either hibernating still or hanging out with his girlfriend down at the lake. I’ll continue to keep my eyes open for him. Thankfully we don’t have any French neighbors who might have – well – you know – ENJOYED a nice frogs legs meal with Freddy and Freddy Junior. Sun puddles are definitely the best. Autumn has definitely arrived here now so I’m really surprised there are still people battling to find Spring. I sent it off to them ages ago. Maybe the postal service is back on strike again.

Hi! Nice to hear from you! Autumn arrives there just as Spring finally breaks loose here….or tries to….today it’s in the 40s and rainy (but at least it isn’t SNOWY like it is out west). I think the postal service is messing EVERYBODY up this year and delivering the wrong weather to the wrong people at the wrong time!

We are having a rainy Monday too! Or at least it is raining right now a little after 2 AM. We are not in bed yet, but will be soon – I don’t think we’ll be getting much in the way of sun puddles until mid-week.

Hi Sparkle…..some days when the sun refuses to cooperate, we just have to find a cuddly snuggly spot on a blanket or in my case in an afghan tent. We won’t see sun until the END of this week…..my tent will get a real “work out” this week!

Well we have been opposite of you with the weather. We have had rain and dreary weather for days and today is supposed to have a teeny bit of Mr. Sun. AND it’s been cold. But we need the rain so no complaining from me. I like puddles of sun too Sammy and I chase them down outside. I take my little aluminum lawn chair and just keep moving 😀 I am looking forward to the Teaser tomorrow cause I know one of them is going to be the Arch in St. Lou 😆

Naaaa…..I couldn’t possibly eat Freddy or Freddy, Jr….we’re buddies – pals – through TWO years….and now they’ve decided to abandon me 😦 – unless they are hibernating longer than usual. It’s kind of chilly off and on still here – not STAYING warm – so maybe the frogs are just taking their time coming out?! Trust me – I didn’t eat them (although my Dad says frog legs are yummy). The Teaser will be INTERESTING – might even be easy for some – but I promise INTERESTING!

Poor Nissy…well, you really MUST rest that “operated-on” knee of yours – it’s totally rebuilt and reconditioned (!) and needs time to heal. Beautiful and dry hehe…we have a nice lot of frogs here Sammy..funny ones called Pobblebonks…because that is what they say…Pobble……Bonk….wow your dad has a plane! i used to be very scared of flying but i love it now and landing on water was the best! Oh wow – you have Pobblebonk froggies huh? That sounds truly intereting…..my Mom said once a long time ago she visited Puerto Rico where they had little tree frogs they called “KO-KEE” because that’s what THEY said. “Pobble…Bonk” is an interesting language but I guess that’s how Aussie froggies talk huh? My Dad’s plans is little – just room for two – but my Mom loves to go up there with him for a poke around the clouds. Mom’s Dad was in the Air Force and they moved around a lot so she learned to love flying and traveling. I’m going to head out in a bit (in between rain drops) to see if Freddy might be out there waiting for me today. Sigh.
