Hear Ye, Hear Ye…..and MORE!

Hi Everyone! Did you think you’d entered the Twilight Zone when you visited my blog yesterday morning? Well, that was a bit of a last minute surprise – one I couldn’t prepare you for – but I had been asked to be the Judge in this very important dispute between two canines and I did my civic duty!

To all of you who came over from here to see what the courtroom action and case consisted of (which was on Misaki’s blog ALL DAY yesterday!), thanks for visiting. It was a long day but before I go further with the resumption of my usual blog, I need to announce my decision as judge on the case of Doggy v. Mollie.

Here Come Da Judge! The Honorable Samuel Kimmell

I, Judge Samuel Kimmell, Esq. am happy to announce the following conclusion to the case of Doggy v. Mollie which was held on Misaki’s blog yesterday.

Plaintiff: Doggy

The Court wishes at this time to announce that the Mediator in the case, Long Life Cats and Dogs suggested a solution which was agreed to by all parties in the matter at hand (you can read what the case was about on Misaki’s blog if you have no idea what’s going on!!). Anyway the compromise is:

Mollie, the plaintiff, agrees to modify the rules, allowing all competitors to acquire said “Paw Token”. This would include Sir Doggy.
Sir Doggy, the defendant, for his part in the misunderstanding, formally apologises to Mollie.
Sir Doggy’s charge of “Criminal Intent To Gain Paw Tokens”, is reduced to a “misdemeanor”, with a Probationary Sentence, lasting the duration of the competition, whereby he accepts that he will not attempt to unlawfully obtain future “Paw Tokens”.

Again, may I thank all those who testified in court on behalf of Mollie and Doggy, all those who suggested solutions to the issue, and all those who just came and giggled quite noisily from the peanut gallery. It’s just wonderful to see the judicial system at work is it not???? Now if you’ll permit me may I declare:

Court Is Hereby Adjourned

Now, those of you who love me for the “non-Judge” that I am, might be interested to know that I did do some other things yesterday other than participate in this marathon court case! Yes indeed! And if you’d like a sample of some of those activities, here you are!

What a life I have!

You did a fine job representing your client Miss Mollie and I believe the mediator’s suggestion was fair to everyone. Doesn’t get any better than that does it? I’m so happy that you and Doggy have resolved your differences without breaking into the always-to-be-avoided-at-all-costs dog fight!
