Hi Peeps! What a glorious Sunday we had. Yep – it was chilly but not TOO chilly…..sunny but not TOO sunny…..and busy but not TOO busy.
Mom worked on her computer a lot – well, I had to consult a bit because she was working on some designs for my “store” – and as the design consultant of course I had to stick my paw in and stir things up! We’re making progress though.
When I wasn’t actively HELPING, I was doing some bodily maintenance – you know, like cleaning my ears, straightening out my tummy hair, and of course the old foot cleaning:
Good thing I only have extra toes on my FRONT paws – I’m not much for “fancy foot work” (haha) !
Sometimes we cats have to get into some rather unusual positions to get all the bits and pieces of our fabulous selves – good thing most of us are so good at cat yoga…..and if we are slightly full-figured (not me of course) it’s even tougher to contort the old body in order to get clean. That’s why we rely on YOU – our peeps – to help us with all of this stuff by giving us the old brush from time to time:
- Yep – that’s the spot Mom…….
It feels great and is ever so relaxing…….
So, how did I get off on a tangent? I was trying to tell you that we had a really great Sunday and wound up making it all about ME and my grooming…….not the most exciting subject in the world but after all, this is MY blog – right?

Dear Miss Linda…Mom and I are putting our paws and hands together to say a prayer that all goes well for Mr. Dan today. I hope he’s home with Nursie Linda REAL SOON! We’ve been so worried. It sure is an amazing story though how people were right where they needed to be to help you and Mr. Dan.

Hi Sundae! Glad you liked my picture – kinda tough doing body maintenance “gracefully” sometimes isn’t it??? Mom and I sure liked the picture of your laundry room on your Mom’s blog today. Mom wants to have one JUST LIKE it some day. Personally I think I could enjoy having that room as “MY” room!

Hi Miss Pix! Glad you enjoyed my embarrassing (!) photos with the body maintenance program in full swing. It’s not easy contorting the old bod around to get all those “spots”…..I do the best I can – and what I can’t do, Mom helps me with!

Hi Miss June! Yes indeedy I DO shine like a nice red/coppery penny after a brushing (which I get about three a day of if not more….!!). One thing I’m very good at is “maintenance” !

Hi Cody! Say – that cat door you have into/out of your Mom’s office is WAY WAY cool! Mom says we can have one of those when we move – whenever the heck THAT is! Yes I guess you do know about that fabric since you Mom has a purse made out of it huh?!?!?! My Auntie Carol made those pillow for my Mom. I love them…….I think it’s the perfect backdrop for my fabulous self as I pose and bathe on the studio couch in Mom’s studio!! TEEEEEE HEEEEEEE

Dear Sammy,
At my house, it is all about ME! Me is really not to big on brushing. me has not gots lots of fur and it is pretty thin, so me don’t like being brushed. Mommy uses a baby brush on me sometimes, but me does not like that either. Maybe that’s why me has hairballs!

Hi Sparta! Welcome to my blog! I’m living the good life that’s for sure….I do like a good brushing and that’s probably a good thing since it keeps a lot of that loose hair from becoming future hairballs! Some stuff about grooming I’m not too crazy about though like getting my nails clipped….takes BOTH my parents to take care of that little chore….tee hee.

Hi Miss Layla! I love brushing – both my parents have a brush by their recliners so whoever I’m visiting at the time can give me a swipe or two with the old brush….Mom has custody of the pink one though! Please tell my friend Domino that I wish him a SUPER FUN birthday today.
