OK guys…….nobody guessed it this Tuesday but some came pretty close!! This house and garden is located outside Boston in Salem, Massachusetts and it’s The House Of The Seven Gables! Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote his novel by the same name about this very old house built back in 1668. The oldest house of its kind in New England. The grounds are beautiful too and on the property now (moved there from its’ location just a few blocks away!) is the actual house where Nathaniel Hawthorne lived. Mom said the house was interesting on the inside and there were lots of interesting rooms and even a secret hidden staircase! So, thanks for playing along with my latest Tuesday Teaser. I’ll try to fool you again next week……… Have a great Wednesday!!Sammy The Tease

Hi, Sammy,
My mom says she thinks they rode by this house on the trip to New England years ago!
Great teaser, since no one guessed it.
Have a good Wednesday, Sammy! It’s gorgeous here; I’m in my usual morning spot: on my window seat, surveying the property!

Ah haaaaaaaaa! So this one might be familiar huh? That’s cool. Mom really loved visiting there with Dad and I think they might even go back one day. She said Salem was a real hoot and they were there on Halloween so it was very “witchy” all over town! Enjoy the sun – Mom and I will be heading out to the front porch for a while as soon as she’s come home from shopping.

Hi Cody! I asked Mom the same thing about the gables….I sure don’t see SEVEN of them in this picture but she said there were a bunch on the back of the house too. Uh huh…sure…..guess we have to take HER word for it huh? She wants to visit Salem again one day so I’ll make sure she takes a BETTER shot next time!

Dear Sammy
You is One Big Tease!
Mommy was supposed to go there a zillion years ago, but she got bumped off the flight she was on in Miami (way back then yous could fly really cheap standby) and ended up in Chicago.
It is still on her list!

Hi Nellie…..well it’s too bad your Mom didn’t make it back then but maybe one of these days she can visit. Wouldn’t that be a great house for a crew of cats to live in???????
