Good Morning Everyone…..are you all as worn out by the holiday as I am? I played ALL DAY LONG with my brand new tissue paper collection thanks to all those presents my parents got……and of course I had some new toys too. It was fun but now I have to wait a whole year before we do this again!
This picture of me was one Mom took about five minutes ago here in her studio. I was talking to her at the time as you might be able to see in this picture. I was saying her favorite thing (we know how to “get” to them don’t we?!?!?!) – “MA MA MA MA MA MA” because she wasn’t paying enough attention to me (hard to imagine huh?).
Actually I was reminding her that SOME of us would appreciate having some breakfast this morning. A guy needs to keep his strength up.
I think today there will be a lot of napping going on….not just with us animal people but with human people too. Most people have the day off of work here for the holiday. Everyone worked hard to have a nice Christmas with company, parties, shopping – so today will be a nice day to just plain DO NOTHING. There will be people returning stuff at the mall and getting more stuff on sale but not here…..nope…..besides, everything I got was just the right size!!! Toys come in one size fits all!
Happy Day After………….

Having Christmas withdrawals, eh, Mr. Tomcat, buddy? I can just bet you had a ball yesterday with the new stuff, never mind the crinkly wrapping paper.
Sigh. Yeah, twelve more long months before jolly old St, Nick pout his in appearance again. Bee good now, you heah. I know that is asking the pretty near impossible, but work on it.

Hi Sundae! Those were some super pretty pictures of you with your Christmas gifts on your Mom’s blog this morning – it was nice of you to do the blog this morning for her so she could get some extra snooze time in! Looks like you got lots of fun things – that crinkle bag is probably a bit like all my tissue – – – – nice noises!!!

You can see his mouth is open!
Do you have a video option on your camera?
I know – I just keep raising the bar!

Hi Isobel……no video option I’m afraid – I wish I did though because then I could share his “talking” with everyone. Right now, in fact, he’s down at the bottom of the stairs calling me. Little devil!

Did you finally get your mommy to pay attention!!?? AFter all, you still have all those toys and tissue paper to play with and it’s no fun with an empty tummy.

Hi Miss June – oh yes, Mom can’t ignore me for long and right after I finished my blog she gave me a nice breakfast so all is well. Now I’m heading over to my new tissue collection for a poke, prod, leap, and crunch! I decided to be good again ALLLLLL year so next Christmas Santa’s as generous as he was this year.

I am so glad that you and your Mom and Dad had a great Christmas!!!
My Mom said she has to do laundry, some bloggy stuff and she wants to take her fat butt out for a walk cause she ate FOURTEEN CHRISTMAS COOKIES!!! Do you believe it!? What a PIGGY!!!!!!!

Know what Cody? Wait til I tell you what my Mom (and her big fat butt) had for breakfast this morning. TWO pieces of Godiva chocolate! Yes! Two! I’m sure that’s equal to 14 Christmas cookies any old day. Oh well….whatcha gonna do? My Mom is planning to get some walking in too; after she does the laundry!

My human ate a whole box of Godiva chocolates on Saturday. She’s not planning on doing any exercise to make up for that. I support her decision because the squishier she is, the better the kneading!

Oh wow Pedro…a whole box huh? Well, my Mom had FOUR pieces (two truffles and two other things) of Godiva for BREAKFAST yesterday. My Daddy calls Godiva chocolates “fat pills”. Mom doesn’t think that’s funny. Anyway, I think you’re right about the squishy thing – a puffy Mom is the best for lap naps and certainly kneading. I’m TOTALLY with you on that score……..

Happy Day After, Sammy! We’re having a quiet day here, too. Mattie is guarding her new toys in the back yard. Simone is watching for cats roaming the neighborhood (just to rally the troops to say “hello”, we love everybody) and I am getting ready to curl up on the loveseat and nap… Lots of love from Eddie the JR, Simone the collie, and Mattie the foxhound

HAHA! Life is good isn’t it gang? So far I’m spending today catching up on all the playing yesterday – I curled up under the tree again (now that there’s not all that STUFF under there) and Mom played her Christmas CDs which she knows I love listening to. Tonight we’ll all watch the new Muppet Christmas movie! WOO HOO!

Yep – she came through for me this morning and I had a yummy breakfast. Tonight I think turkey is on the menu (again)….I’m not big on the stuff but have been known to pound down a scrap or two. It’s been a busy day – I had to rearrange my tissue collection a few times, then Dad tried to take away my favorite Christmas box to put it in the trash with the others….guess who won THAT dispute?!

Oh Sammy, that is a great picture of you. We love it. You sure are quite the talker but we all need to keep these hooomans in line. They just need to feed us whenever we are hungry. Take care.

Hi there! Thanks on the picture comment – my Mom doesn’t often catch me yakking like that – I also was relatively still for that photo which is a rare occasion too! I talk all the time but only two things that I say can my Mom DEFINITELY understand and that’s “MA MA” and “OWWA” (which is how I say OUT). I ramble on and on about other things but they ACT like they don’t know what I’m saying!
